LG 48CX OLED - 4K 120 Hz

Well the 48s are available now at not terrible prices if you watch for a deal, likely similar prices to the launch price of a 42. Maybe sitting back a bit is an option?

I'm an open world or racing game/controller guy so it works fine for me. For productivity stuff it's replaced a 43 and a vertical 24 so I've actually lost some screen real estate.

Wouldn't want to play an FPS at mouse & keyboard distance on a 48.

totally works for me, I love this for productivity, I am playing games on custom resolution Ultrawidescreen still at 120Hz though, runs really well and makes it easier for me viewing wise in fact feels better.

Took a while to get used to the size of 48" coming from a 34" ultrawide but totally loving it now. Also able to custom resolution to 3840x1600 and looks awesome in FPS. You get the best of both worlds with this TV 21:9 and 16:9 in one package.

For use on the desk/office, a curved would be fine I think but curved tv's never appealed to the market.

& That’s why I would prefer curved

That's the whole thread Yeah it's superb. Assuming you have a nice PC to drive it.

Does 120HZ dubly vision relate to movies, PC games or console support?

Happily I can report that the CX seems quite resistant to cat vomit.

Thanks for that. I guess I'll try ME Andromeda on PC again. Switching from HDR10 to Dolby Vision caused screen corruption last time I tried.

our OLED, UK version is 03.23.35 if you look at the video his version is 03.30.05 we don't have that version yet but we know it coming for the CX

No doubt it makes for a great monitor if your desk is large enough.

If only is was a 32" Monitor.... I did try a 40" TV quite a few years ago but couldn't get used to it, my desk just isn't big enough.

4K 48" is equal to 1080p 24", which the ppi is 92-93. 42" 4K is equal to 1080p 22", 102. But there is a chance the ppi could be 104.
I like higher ppi and also I'm using a 22" FHD monitor and it looks really nice and perfect. Text looks sharp.

I've seen the 48C1 in physical store and I'm suprised the text looks sharp.

I'm not really sure how to get rid of it but there's text colour fringing on my 48CX. Makes it hard to use as my main monitor so i'm only using it for movies/games (and my 1440p 27" monitor for everything else)

Yes I've got the 3090 pulled the trigger on the c1 now just need to be asked to carry the pc downstairs
