Yup, you can still change the response timing setting. When using a preset mode, the options which you can no longer change will be greyed out for you.

I haven't noticed any issues with the high preset but decided just to stick with medium in the end as it is the recommended setting since image sticking "may" occur with the high setting but during the time I did have mine set to high, I couldn't notice any issues.

Not sure about game mode but on this monitor it is terrible anyway, image is just blue and horrible looking. I think the input lag is pretty much 0 already.

Overall, can't say that I have any issues with MP online gaming.

Perfect thanks mate...

just need to wait for my cable to turn up now :)

Just out of interest seeing as I did not know about the limitations of HDMI and res on this Monitor I am guessing by moving to DP cable I will get a more viewing angle left to right as currently on HDMI i am only seeing a stretched 1920 res?

Does this monitor actually have the display port 1.2 setting in the OSD? the 95 model which I have does but I don't use it as it just gives me crazy tearing and flickering.. I guess its just because the 290 cards don't support 1.2 properly and not the actual display port cable that came with the monitor?

Well, new monitor all set up and my oh my

Awesome colours, a bit of bleed bottom left but it doesnt really bother me. Just had a few rounds of plants vs zombies garden warfare and it was brilliant.

My new set up, sorry for the bad picture!

Nice! Welcome to the club

And yeah still don't get all the fuss for 4k monitors atm:

- price - majority are TN, a few IPS but they cost an absolute fortune, rather get a top end TV for that sort of price....
- quite a few problems with them
- need at least 2 top end GPUs to run games on high settings at acceptable FPS
- 4k res. is a bit pointless for monitors smaller than 34" imo

BTW snips, maybe get the thread title changed a bit? no need to have the widescreen part repeated twice imo :p

Something like this instead?

Ok, its been a few days so i thought i'd post my very amateur opinions on it :p

I was worried to begin with that lots of games i play would not display properly at 2560x1080. So far i've played these games with no issues...

Men of war assault squad
Sniper Elite 3
Kerbal space program
Bioshock infinite
Chivalry : medieval warfare
PvZ Garden warfare

The colours are excellent, no blurring and i have my monitor set to 10 brightness, plenty enough for me. I'd go as far to say that i wish i went super wideboy earlier.

Love it!!!
