Yip. Can get 73 out of it. Frame skipping though at 73 and 70. Knocking it down to 68 now.
I know it is relatively safe to do but I am still too scared as knowing my luck the monitor will break!
I will let Monkeyspaz5000 and masterOC try it on their monitors first
As soon as it gets here , I'll post my results . Abit miffed , ordered befor 3 , no dispatch email or anything .., looks like a phone call tomorrow . Ow well , ended up with free delivery ( the B model dosnt come with it ) , due to the missus doing her usual bargaining over the blower so can't complain to much
I had the same issue. Placed an order at about 1pm. It wasn't shipped out that day.
It's happened a few times with me. It's annoying as I get free next day delivery. I would pay to make sure it's sent out!!
Just use your phone's camera
63HZ - No point at all.
this may be daft question but where can I take this to be Calibrated , cba doing it myself , may as well get a proper job done if I'm going to keep it .
No idea. I think it can be quite costly though.... ?
i wouldn't say no point , the numbers higher , that'll do for the overclocker in me moarrrrr is always moarrrrrr haha
Don't know who you can contact to calibrate it, have read about people "renting" calibrators though...
Most people find the cinema preset to be very good and the closest to a proper calibrated display though. Very pleased with the colours using that mode.
The only thing you will then need to change is the brightness. I have been doing a lot of reading tonight on the LG 34um95 and it seems like a brightness between 10 and 20% is actually the best for achieving a high contrast ratio. I was originally using 5% but have now set it to 15%.
Any idea out of these 3 which is better for gaming?
LG Flatron 29EB53-B 29" WideScreen Super-Wide LED Monitor
LG Flatron 29UB65-P 29" WideScreen Super-Wide LED Monitor
LG Flatron 29UM65-P 29" WideScreen Super-Wide LED Monitor
Cheers
True, although rather bizarrely and annoyingly IMO, the 29EB53 has USB and a matte surround... unlike the 29UM65/29UB65, which are NEWER models... a pretty dumb step backwards if you ask me, but likely a cost saving move.Nexus18 said:They are all using the same panel. The 29EB53 is about a year older though so might not be as good as the 29um65/29ub65 but due to the lack of reviews, no way to be 100% sure
