Hmm good idea that, I might create a new thread for 21.9/ultrawide monitors as it does seem rather popular on here now and imo is the future for displays so we need to make more people aware of why it is superior to 16.9/16.10 aspect ratio and as a result get more companies supporting 21.9 format!

- both are pretty much the same, personally I didn't go for the aoc because of the crappy stand
- yes it still seems to be a large problem for all of the LG monitors due to the chassis/housing
50-70?!
Do you want to burn the image into your retinas?
Way too bright that imo unless you are sitting pretty far back from the monitor or in an extremely bright room...
hovering over the buy button on this moniter, need convinced........not by much.
1, forgetting the resolution jump will I see a vast difference in quality over my 9year old asus 1680x1050p tn panel.
2, will my 280x cope ok until I can xfire (possibly a few months away)
3, do you think it will go back down in price this week
4, would it be better than the aoc (I can get both delivered for the same price)
5, im not one to return many things, is the light bleed problem still on as many moniters.
thanks
