LG to Introduce 34-inch IPS 21:9 UltraWide (Model UM95) monitor

The translation/language barrier is quirky, the order management page says "orders delivered" - When it's still in shipping :p

Had be concerned for a moment!

Yeah I didn't modify diablo 3 at all so it's not optimal but it works, I don't like to mess around too much :D

Not supposed to mention competitors, but lets say I didn't buy in the monitor in the UK.

16:9 image. Apologies for the photo quality again, man it's bad, makes me want to get a new smartphone just for the camera!

21:9 image - truly a spectacular sight to behold. You get completely swept away watching a movie on this monitor for the first time. Even old movies feel like new on this!

One thing that is slightly taking the sheen off is the AG glare. I may have to find a new position for the monitor as it could be annoying long term. I'm right beside a window.

On diablo3 you can have your inventory open for gear changes and you still see almost everything! Can't wait to play Watch Dogs on this :)

Amazing! I have sidelined a few 1080P movies just for watching on this screen. A few new ones and of course it would be criminal not to re-watch Gravity.

Now, where can I get 4K movies to test out (yeah I know it's a bit shy of true 4K but 4K content > 1080P for sharpness especially at this scale).

Edit*
Managed to find Tears of Steel short movie in 2160P. SciFi too, looks epic!

The 4K remastered Lawrence Of Arabia is in 2:39:1 i believe and looks EPIC but still no consumer versions of the true 4K or 8K from some. Watch this and it might point you in that direction skip to past the 1/2 point to listen. Hopefully once the new BD 4K comes out they will start to release pretty much all the back catalogues of films fully remastered at 4K or even 8K in the case of some older films. Imagine all your old films getting treatment like this http://www.engadget.com/2008/10/24/baraka-first-ever-8k-hd-restoration-blu-ray-disc-gets-ship-date/
