I need a very flexible pcie cable and a flexible USB 3 extender to be able to connect the front panel wire to the motherboard.
Where is the USB 3 header on that board? Can't see it on the pics.

Think i see, its a right angle connector? Prefer these right angled ones, enables you to make a much neater cable route. Hate mine as it sticks out about 10 miles before looping round behind the motherboard trayIt's a 20pin connector on the right edge behind the GPU.
Ah thanks for letting me know. Ive been seriously looking at Air RGB because of the discount. Im thinking atm the dynamic looks better, but would cost more because ive got to factor in some fans. For £90 seems a great price with 5 fans, although im not overly keen on the plastic, over glass front. Some said the Air struggles with air-flow because of the filters, are they not the same as the dynamic?I'd say yes but you'll need to mount your side fans to the rear of the case and not the front so it doesn't intervene with the AIO.

Yeah even in the dynamic, i took the filters out as they starve airflow. The difference with them in and out is night and day. Would suggest some more perforated filters that do a similar job.Ah thanks for letting me know. Ive been seriously looking at Air RGB because of the discount. The cable goes in from the side but it won't fit as the distro gets in the way, so I think I need a flexible extender for it, female to male.
That would work, i can see how its obstructing now. Do you use the front usb's much? I'm actually contemplating taking them out as i barely use them. It's just 1 less cable to deal with haha.
Looks fantastic that mate, bet you're well pleased with it. Whats next for this then?

Yeah I'm very pleased with it. So glad I didn't take the easy option and went for hard tubing.
Next will be changing a few of the wires for better ones. And connecting the CPU block RPG wire.
Same! Although initially i did go with the soft tubing route but just figured i'd give hard tubing a try and so glad i did, its so much more pleasing to look at.
i know the feeling, the upgrades have put a big dent in the bank account haha. Won't be doing anything drastic for a good year now i think since we've booked a holiday to Florida as well.I have really enjoyed planning and putting this together. I may have to plan another one once my bank accounts recovered. The Barrow test benchs look interesting!
Thanks. Not hard at all tbh, just did the first bend from the rads and then the ones to the distro board, however The first one I did I messed up through not heating the tube evenly enough and IVery nice!! How hard were the double bends at the top to do?
Thanks mate! It still needs a bit of work with regards to the cabling, but that should be sorted soon with some new cable sets from cablemods. I pondered getting the normal dynamic, but I couldn't fit what I wanted in there. The XL is perfect for my needs and after having aThat's awesome mate! Very clean! I'm looking at getting that Bykski or Barrowch flow meter as well, looks about the right size. Kinda wish i got the XL instead as theres much more room to play with.
Yeah i was gonna ask about that odd cable hanging across your board but knew you had something in mind to hide it as the rest of the build is so clean. I really wish i had now since i have the space for it on my new desk too... maybe have to do a swap at some point later in the year ha!Thanks mate! TT core x5 & Enthoo primo before that, I just wanted something more manageable in size. There are few Bykski distro boards for the lian li and you can either the front or side one for the normal 011, however, the side one is the only one that fits the XL. I just added a ddc pump that I already had.
I did get a flow meter too, but like a wally forgot to add it into the loop.
The biggest thing for me with the xl is the hot swappable drive bays at the rear - being a photographer it will come in handy with my new 6tb drives going in soon.Yeah i was gonna ask about that odd cable hanging across your board but knew you had something in mind to hide it as the rest of the build is so clean. We've all been there haha, get so into what we're doing and we forget what we actually need to do! Getting carried away
Just replied to your for sale thread, seen a few bits i might need
