LiE's Diet and Training Thread

This week the diet is a bit of an experiment, I'm actually happy with my current weight and don't really want to put on much more. If I decide to compete I want to stay in the <83Kg category, I'm around 81Kg at currently. Wouldn't mind losing a tiny amount of fat so my abs show more, but that can wait until summer.

I'll be interested in this thread a great deal when you log your cutting diet etc, it's something I've always struggled with.

Aye, i'm trying to get to grip with cutting, so far ive just cut some food out :o

Can't believe you weight less than me LiE!!! I weighed myself the other night at a friends engagement party (so I had some beer weight ;)) And it was 94KG =/ haha

Worse time to weigh yourself Delvis, always stick to the morning post toilet.

Good solid shoulder session tonight. Got 11 reps on the Military press which is a new best for me, couldn't lock out the 12th but was close.

Then did shoulder press machine thing 80kg x 8 x 5 and facepulls 27.5 x 10 x 5 and 25 minutes stretching/mobility. Did a squat test at the end of the stretching and managed to have a nice flat stable back at the bottom of my squat :)

No training today as I'm at a wedding. Which means doing Wed, Thurs, Fri this week. Hopefully it won't affect my lifts.

I've never done touch-and-go apart from light warmups. For work sets I've always done normal deadlifts - ie from a dead stop. But I think touch-and-go reps can have their place too, I just haven't done them yet. If I was going for 10 reps, I would probably do touch-and-go.

Damn that was hard as hell, managed to claw the 10 reps I needed setting a new PB. Not sure how long I can carry on setting PBs lol.

Form was average, I'm quite aware my chest needs to come through more. Still need to get that hamstring flexibility that I'm missing. All In all I'm pleased, came away with no discomfort.

Video. Had to reset my position I think during my set.

Nice work. Yeah that's the problem with those stupid stop-sign plates, you can never get your starting position consistent each rep without moving your feet.
