The sale can go through however should NESV or the Liverpool board wish, they can have a declaratory judgement on the 21st. Which would cover their ****'s from legal action.

Who knows if they will request it but I wouldn't be surprised with all the threats of claims for damages going around.

Judge also rules that H&G have to cover all legal costs and that the board meeting to ratify the sale must go ahead tonight

Liverpool owners lose case in High Court

A judge has ruled against Liverpool's owners in a High Court decision that brings the club closer to being sold to the owners of the Boston Red Sox.

Judge Christopher Floyd ruled Americans Tom Hicks and George Gillett have no power to stop their boardroom rivals, who sanctioned the sale last week.

The board agreed to sell the debt-ridden Premier League club to New England Sports Ventures for £300m.

But the current owners claim the price undervalues the club.

And they've been refused the right to appeal :D :D

The next step is for the Judge to rule that H&G have to compensate all the fans that skipped work today :p
