Living in University Halls

I ate out LOADS at uni and never seemed to run out of money

First year i seemed to have endless amounts lol, second year i was broke though.

Its not too expensive, £3 for a burger meal or something...

I ate breakfast about 3 times a week in the canteen, so thats like £3.10 a time

Anytime we watched Man United at the bar id get a burger meal as well

pasta is a doddle.... its so fun to cook

you can really experiment.

i can make stuff for my fellow students... ill cook all sorts for them.

everyone loves stewed steak and dumplings, ill have the women round all the time...

I usually have lunch at uni about 3 times a week last year, never ate breakfast really. And Takeaway about once a week, most twice a week. I usually cook or have a frozen pizza or something, it's like 2 for £4 from tesco.

I live off campus now so don't eat out as much. Got a Greggs not far from me though

As much as i love Pizza, Pasta and eating out, almost exculsively eating that food is pretty bad mate. Don't you get bored of the same old stuff over and over again?

Bah. This thread makes me want to go to Uni now, jsut for the experience. I wouldn't be in it for a degree. Nothing I really want to do at uni degree wise :/

Nah. the memories of good times tbh. This is my last summer before work, but all my friends seem to jsut sit at home or are at work. Not a lot to rememebr so far

Damn, wish i took pics of my room, it was huge.....although in saying that, if anyone has seen the infamous Aber PJM massive rooms in the 5 bedroom houses.....my gf had one of those last year....

I'm going to be in my last year of college next year and after that to uni. That's like in a year's time.
I am pretty terrified! But just seeing this thread puts a smile on my face and reassures me.

I take it talking about overclocked FX 80s with triple core buffers and super anisostropic filtering doesn't make you popular

Not with the girls, no. Neighbours ? Yes, Eastenders? Yes, Shopping ? Yes, Football? Yes.

tbh, it depends on your friends. I have friends who don't walk about TV, shopping, or sports. We can get into really deep conversation about life in general ...etc til the sun comes up. (while drinking of course

The huge desk and storage was awesome. Now that I'm home in a huge room I'm still not properly unpacked because I've got nowhere to put stuff!

...no posters of semi-naked women for me.. that's the rules of surjection, injection and bijection stuck on the wall!
