Living in University Halls

bah im the corridor clown i have a habit of making a fool of my self, and there isn't one ugly or even average girl on our corridor NOT ONE :D they think i ts cute

and you just know all the ladyeez will want a turn :D

I will re-iterate a couple of points:

TAKE PHOTOS, I got a top end digi cam before I went to uni and the biggest memory card I could buy (5 Mega Pixel Sony Digi Cam with 512mb Memory stick back in 2003 - now in 2006 with a 7 Megapixel Sony Digi Cam with 2GB Memory stick!)

The reason for the huge memory stick is for the video! When ever you go out take shed loads of snaps and video of your mates being drunk and falling into bushes or sucking at DDR, alternatively they can steal it from you and video you when you get wasted on absinthe and think you can run up walls aka, The Matrix :p

People will complain that you’re taking too many photos etc, but EVERYONE wants the pictures and video afterwards. Just graduated and I have notched up just under 5000 pictures and 250 videos (totalling nearly 25Gbs) in 3 years.

Secondly, regarding being able to fix computers, letting people know is a dangerous but lucrative business. Free beer, money, girls asking you to look at their printer/computer/etc are the good points, balance it out against being constantly pestered.

No written confirmation as of yet, but I signed onto their website and the status says approved and there's a table that's showing me how much i'm going to get.

Get into Manchester city centre, absolutely tons of clubs, pubs, bars. Can't go wrong with 5th Ave place is packed with students.

Can't agree with that more if I tried, in my day it was a double red rouster and moonshine (Vodka and Red Bull) for about £1.10, awesome.

On more recent comments, I think being a geek is not a good thing at Uni, I orginally intended to study CompSci but god damn am I glad I didn't. They where (no offense intended) mostly a lot of losers, even the physicists where more fun.

you have three years, funded, to "do" lots of ladies, drink to excess and be around people that are at the same stage of life as you. Don't ruin it by being on OCUK 24/7. If you don't think you fit in, find a sport, society anything just to get out there.

Of course academic studies are important, but you grow up at lot at university at a rate far higher than 6th form. You have to think what you want to grow into. Do you want to be surfing web forums when our 25 or being a lively and sucessful person.

NOTE THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE OFFENSIVE TO ANYONE ON THE FORUM!
