We were sitting on the sofas in the quieter bit of the bar, would have been just to the right of the group by the window, it was fairly lateish as we'd been dancing most of the night.
I'm almost certain it was your flatmate though :)

In the end my mate had it instead, who is funnily enough Otacon from these boards. :)
I would have had the shot normally but I'd drank quite a few vodka and oranges by then :o
 
Which block you in at Staffs PF?

I lived there last year, from sept until just before christmas (moved home due to cashflow probs and stuff - only live in Stoke so commute now).

Facilities there are top notch, and the union and club are good too, let down a little I guess by the lack of girls. Your main clubs in town are Chicago Rock (they've got a Flares style club upstairs, which is pretty good) and Zanzibar which is just around the corner.

After a few weeks usually one of the first years decides to set a coach up to Stoke for a monday night. Think it was a tenner each, which included entry into Liquid (main nightclub in Hanley, Stoke)... which imo isn't bad for a return trip to Stafford as well as entry (usually 4.50 on its own!)

The coach usually drops you off (Arrives at Liquid about 10/10.30) and picks you up at 2.30 (closing time) I'd do that a few times personally, but then i'd give the other clubs/bars in Hanley a go. I'm not much for Liquid as its too big and you get a fair few nobbers in there. Prefer to go Fat Cats/Weatherspoons for a few to start off, then hit Revvo's/Aruba for your shots, then into Walkabout (class when uni starts, great music... great atmousphere) and finish off in Liquid if a can be arsed.

The halls are pretty cool because your all 'together', not spread out. You get a fair few weirdo's (which is cool cos you can destroy em, lol :p) with it predominantly being a Comp Sci uni, but its fairly balanced. A football league will start in a few weeks that plays on a weds afternoon, which is pretty good as wel.

First few weeks will be pretty rammed in the union/club but then it does start to quieten. Tues nights as said are good up Chicagos (Free bus from uni)... and your mondays i'd spend in Liquid - your about 16 miles away, so make the most of it ;))

Enrolling myself tommorow :) Can't wait to just get back into uni, been bored ******** working this summer lol.

Surprised I didn't recognise Octagon after seeing numerous photos on the forums of him.




@ Nickname, we're off down Zanzibar tonight I think, probs head down at about 10:30, they got an organised bus going down.
Have had a good few nights in the student union so far, and have had a good times even back in the flat (I'm in Levedale)
Can't wait for friday and saturday though, looks like theres gonna be some good music :)

Bah, what sort of excuse is that? :p You drink what is put in front of you, then that means if you have mates they then carry you home, if not you have to either sleep it off or hope that you can make it home regardless :D

Could you also pass on my best wishes to Otacon since I haven't seen him on here for quite a while, thank you :).

Levedale, thats my ex block!!!

Don't you dare say your on the downstairs floor, opposite the kitchen or else your in my room ;)

Brill block be in TBH, your completly oppsoite security, far enough away to make noise np's. Man im wrecked, been out at Ember lounge in stoke. Gonna have a few nights out with some lads from up there I reclon, so myt see ya around ;)

I didn't want to make Otacon carry me back home when he didn't know which way that was :p
Nice pitch black walk half away long too as there's no street lights.

I'll let him know you've been wondering about him :)

Yeh the only problem with it being so far away is it was hard work to move all my stuff across from the car. My computer weighs a lot....
I'm in the top floor opposite the kitchen :)
