I dont plan on being drunk the entirety, plus my parents have given me £200 for the express use during freshers

Personally I'd only use half of that and save the other half for lots of other things. You don't want to be toooo drunk, how else are you going to chat up girls ?

Actually, my freshers week last year included me almost sleeping with a hottie on my corridor when i was still going out with my girlfriend from home

Different county, doesn't county.

Same with 3 some, different time zones.....etc

Oh god tell me about it. I recently had a fling with my mates underage (she turned 16 last week though...) sister. Before that, my gf turned out to be a psyco ***** from hell. I seem to be a black hole for relationships. I wasnt at all like this before i went to uni! Thats why this time, im taking my ubah gaming rig to stop getting myself into trouble

I didn't move in til Tuesday (when most moved in on the weekend prior), i just couldn't get a lift until then, that's why.

I moved in on saturday. Net is pretty bad on 1mb but i gonna pay the extra 150 squid for the upgrade. 4Mb net - 40freeview channels to my PC and offline storage.

Room is cool. My flatmates are nutters that proper good for me. All nuters together.

Flat 3 @ Parkcourt - Cant beat it....

Yeh, its great so far. Good atmosphere, making good mates already.
Alcohol is a great way to bring each other together. Combined with a few random jokes that kicked in we had a great first night.
Loving the internet connection here apart from being limited to one computer. Don't really play my PS2 much anyway, we've spent most of the day chilling out playing PES and listening to music. Luckily our floor all has a pretty similar taste in music, or atleast a good acceptence in each others stuff.

From what I remember of freshers(it was a while back now) it was great, I didn't socialise quite as much as I would have liked to looking back now but I don't think it affected me any. It just took me a little longer to get into my stride, when the two big nightclubs in town started a price war was when I really got started(30p vodka and dash = wow).

Other peoples freshers unsurprisingly never seem as good if you go along, I've been to most freshers weeks since I've been here and I wonder if I was as much of a prat, I'm forced to conclude I was but I didn't realise it at the time
