Mine arrived yesterday so I had a couple of hours to play with it last night.
Very happy with it so far, the build quality seems to be of a quite high standard. I've used a £20 Microsoft Multimedia for around 10 years, loved it, but tried a few Logitech and other brand 'gaming' keyboards and just found them really cheap, noisy plastic toys with lights.
The K750 looked quite deceiving to me, so thin, delicate and fragile, but actually feels quite sturdy. Not as solid as a larger keyboard, but still I don't feel like I'm going to break it when my hands are resting on it. Even a solid push and it hardly budges.
The feel of the keys is something I'm not used to as well. It feels nice
.
Soft, responsive, nice texture on the key surface. Much better than I've tried before and similar to the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard that I was also impressed with.
The only things that I need to adjust are the way I type and my wrist / hand positions as again, it's quite different from a big old clunky standard keyboard. Maybe laptop users or those who have used the flat type would find it an easier transition.
I also need to look at the keyboard when typing as the spaces between keys are a little different, so I have to say a temporary goodbye to touch typing
. I do find myself typing quicker at some points though, it will improve with practice I guess.
The only thing I'm really missing though is the key that sits to the right of the right hand windows key that makes a mini-menu popup, very handy for spelling corrections. Ah well, right click it is from now on, booo.
Overall this seems like a brilliant keyboard, very happy with it. Build quality is impressive, feel is almost perfect and it's easy on the eye
.
