logitech support

Logitech support are great, it's why I'm a returning customer and would always choose Logitech. Had a G7 mouse start skipping ages out of warranty, Logitech support gave a nice discount on a new one.

My MX Revolution mouse-wheel broke after a couple of years, they replaced it. That broke after another couple of years (same problem) and they replaced it with a Performance MX. I'm pretty sure I haven't had to pay for a mouse for at least five years!

Best customer support out there, which is why I exclusively buy Logitech peripherals now.

Agree'd they are damn good, ive had 3 G25's so far, a logitech g15 rev1 and a mx revolution - each time all they wanted was the usb plug which i sent as all the items were knackered anyway, havent needed to use the support side of them for a while, although my G5 is becoming a little slow on the mouse clicks (probably needs cleaning inside)

well I contacted them about problems with my z-5500, smoking sub, screen flickerjng, no sound have to turn off and on and buzzing sub all the time, Its 3 years out of warranty I don't think they will be able help me.

Read his post again.

As for Logitech support they are awesome. My G15 keyboard was well outside of the warranty but I emailed them to ask their advice on a problem I had with it. Even though it was out of warranty they gave me a 50% off voucher/code to buy myself a new keyboard.

Same, broke the spacebar on my G15 last week, emailed them and got a 50% voucher. I couldnt resist buying a G19 knowing it had 50% off the price :D Probably works out well for logitech in those regards (although it retails elsewhere for £100 so its effectively only 25% off, but still).

Really impressed with Logitech, looking forward to the day my MX518 breaks down xD

Logitech support are amazing. I used to contact them every 3~ months for new mouse skates and they would arrive within 2 days, they were proper teflon ones as well :D.

well all im gona yet again say is, logitech support have been brilliant for me in this case

Logitech offered to send me a new control pod free of charge, although they said try a factory reset on it and that fixed it so don't need a new control pod.

 They basically told me tough **** when I contacted them about my speakers. :(

Well I contacted them about a year ago because my sub was smoking, and they basically told me to send the whole speaker set to them for inspection and then for me to buy a new set at discounted price.

I thought I'll live with it, I just can't turn it up over 90% anymore.

i really need to email logitech about my mx rev it's starting to drop connection randomly (think the receiver thing is dying, but it has been brutalised over the years)

I just phoned them today about my G5 mouse that has been playing up the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately its a year out of warranty so the guy couldn't send me a replacement but is instead giving me a 50% off discount code for their online shop.

Well I gave them a call and the answer was as it was over two years old there was nothing they could do for me.

He didn't ask for any details other than the fact that it was a Harmony 885.

Maybe I'll try online support instead?
