logitech support

Now with me i have bought for example 3 dinovo edge keyboards, harmony 1000 x2, 3x = Logitech dark field mice, and a few Logitech Squeezebox a few web cams, and that's only within the last couple of years, without going back 10+ years. And they have been beyond poor.

What happened?

there sig finished, much better?

Much ;)

Well a a few months ago I couldn't even produce any proof of buying my G19 and they replaced it for free after a few days and they said i could do whatever I liked with the old one :p

Give them another chance

I've heard the Z906 is not as good as the Z5500, so kind of a downgrade.

How do you contract them regarding problems though? Do you just go through support on their website?

I could have got a brand new Logitech G15 keyboard, all I had to do was as requested by Logitech, smash my keyboard up with a hammer and post a pic, they'd send a new one then, I decided against it, it seemed wrong and abusive.

Yer I did read that the Z906 wasn't as good, however it was a new system for free, £360 for a new Z5500 that was going to break again or even more for a AV and speaker system.

On receipt it sounds perfectly fine, I'm not an audiophile and the base isn't so severe as the Z5500 but it's been perfectly fine for my music, movie, and games.

I contacted them through the website.

I need to ring up about my G5 really, the weight cartridge keeps falling out every so often. :(

When I emailed about my Z-5500s the first time the fuse went they were useless to be honest. I'm still waiting for some amazing support from them.

I hope they dont go bust, their customer service is the best I've ever seen. I read somewhere that they are currently making a loss

I would not bother with the G5 you may as well bin it, the same i have done for a lot of my logitech products that have failed.

And I'm sure you are aware of their " brilliant support " never again for me.

You're seriously in the minority, I've had an MX Revolution replaced, a Performance MX replaced and some Ultimate Ears 700 replaced, all without any hassle at all and without even needing to provide an invoice of any kind.

Well as i have said, they must not be able to please everyone.

Absolute crap for me. and only been here for 12+ years;)

9 years according to your profile and less posts than me.. ;)

Either way Logitech support has been awesome for me in the past. Four different devices replaced hassle free over the years. Perhaps it's how you conduct yourself when you deal with them?!? Politeness helps a lot.

Learn how the forums work please before posting;) and don't attempt to sound smart.

Having read a lot about logitech support, I might give them a bell about my Harmony 885.

The contacts have corroded and it is a nightmare to recharge, generally I have to push something heavy on top of the remote to get them to make contact. It has been a problem since I got it, they had to swap out the handset because of the battery not fitting the compartment, then the cradle because it was knackered.

It is well out of warranty, but I might give it a shot anyway, not that I expect anything other than "Sorry Sir, it is out of warranty"

all i actually e-mailed them about with my wheel, was getting it repaired, it was them who asked for the serial numbers and if i had a reciept, even though i said no to having a reciept, they were fine with it and then said id be getting a replacement, i just think its brilliant support tbh

You may get offered a discount code, I've read of people getting 50% discount codes for out of warranty stuff. Worth a try.

Either way Logitech support sorted me out numerous times and you apparently not.

I wonder why that was?!?
