Lost my love of gaming :(

don’t play games much these days, don’t have the desire to play everyday like I used to but when I do I like to go all in and disappear for a week doing long sessions like the old days. But has to be something special. Last 2 games I’ve played were Elden Ring and BG3.

The meme posted with the fat guy at the keyboard I actually agree with. Except I'm not fat and ugly. I'm a decent looking guy who's been battling depression since I was 15.

There’s a mental health thread if you want to write about your struggles.

The stuff you were posting in this thread was completely unhinged.
Sorry mods one last post. I wouldn't say unhinged, but I agree it was a bit weird. I'm just struggling right now,I didn't mean to ruffle anyones feathers.

There's places you can get help mate but this particular forum section, late at night after a few ales isn't one of them. Hope things get better for you soon.
Back on topic, grab Splinter Cell Blacklist from the MS sale for 4 quid. I'm on the last mission now, played through on rookie (no idea how people do it on higher difficulties) and having a really good time with it. Back before typical Ubi bloat and monetisation. Give it a go, highly recommended. :)

My gaming history recently is basically doing runs of either one of the Resident Evils or Last Of Us 1+2.

I love them so much that new games don’t really grab me, I even set challenges to the make the games harder. RE2 - All scenarios, hardcore, zero save runs

Just bought AstroBot yesterday and that legit reminds me why I love gaming, amazing game that makes you smile again and again. Not many games do that anymore!

I started again but with some PS1 titles, then got back into some old C&C, and i just had a quick look at steering wheels
Seems like a fun thing, and never had the chance before, nothing major or simulation level, just for a quick blitz. Looks like a rabbit hole though.

I’m playing minecraft dungeons on my PS5, very easy to get into and quite enjoyable. I’m looking at Lego Horizon next which I’m more enthusiastic about than the originals.

Got excited for Indiana Jones after not playing much for a very long time. About two hours in, absolute garbage. The PC section here are raving about it. No idea why, it’s as average as gaming gets. Helps hugely it’s on gamepass and I’ve not paid for it, unlikely I’d push through it even if I’d bought it full price. Which I wouldn’t have anyway, obviously, because modern games are rubbish.

How far did you get?

In the Vatican City there is lots to do and explore, I’ve just left that area now.

How’s everyone doing these days? Been playing uncharted series again over Xmas which I’ve been enjoying
The Steam Deck has pretty much saved my gaming, it just fits in with my life so perfectly, I've played 100s of hours of great games with it. Handheld is definitely my gaming world now.

I've treated myself to a new desk and a 48" LG B4 which has reignited my love for gaming at the moment.

I was a little skeptical getting the 48" as I also need to be able to work on it but it's turned out to be perfect. The ability to split my work tabs into 4 virtual screens is great.

Sweet, how do you split them into 4 virtual screens may I ask? Can you show this?
