Lost Season 5 (Sunday, Sky1, 9PM)

So, can someone let me know how Ben's tumour was linked in with this episode?

I'm not as on the ball as I have been in the previous seasons of Lost, sign of the times I think! Haven't even logged on to any of the forums I used to be part of :o

Although I agree about the bomb being where the Swan is, it seems to make sense - but this being Lost it'll probably be something completely different!

role reversals?

im thinking if they get jack to remove the bullet (ben wont be dead?) hes operating on ben again, like before. which means jack becomes a leader role again. With sawyer failing at being a leader now, julliete wanting to leave him, the role reversals we have been watching could counter themselves to normal.

My theory. lol

My theory is that the tumour was the islands way of trying to kill him, as without Jack he would have died several years before (This is assuming Jack performs surgery on child Ben and saves him).

I think then the roles of people are going to be questioned by Horace, especially as a surgeon scored so low on the aptitude test that he was made Janitor. Can see the next few episodes being ones where the secrets are revealed to the Dharma people and them reacting badly (Phil seems to hate any outsiders more than anyone).

If Ben is saved, his perception of the others will differ too as he has now been shot by one of them. Perhaps Sayid's decision does go some way to changing the future.

one thing thats playing on my mind is "you cant change what happened", so ben must regain trust in sayid? Especially to have hired him as a killer.

also faraday was penciled in for last episode, im sure when we see him things will become more clear

Ending to the last episode was great but what's really bugging me now at this stage is, where has everybody gone?! Rose and Bernard just seem to have dropped off the island at this point and I'm fairly certain there was more than just Kate and Sawyer left of the original oceanic crash after the evac and what happened to Faraday?

That Australian air hostess who appeared working with the others in season 2 (did she have a drink with Jack at the airport before the flight) is another mysterious disappearance that's bugging me. Perhaps I just don't pay enough attention.

Ahhhhh I get it now!

Very good theorys (sp) and thinking about it now, I can't think of a better one off the top of my head :p

But;
-Will Jack know it is Ben, believe that he owes him as he has saved him "before" (after :p) this and that Ben brought him back to the Island so he must save him as gratitude or something?
OR
-Will Jack not know it is Ben, and have to confess to the Dharma people that he is a surgeon and saves Ben? Maybe he will never know it was Ben, or he will find out after Surgery (or during the Surgery)?

Either way, his secret would be out and I'd imagine he'd take Sawyer and Juliette with him as he's jealous of them lol.

Im pretty dissappointed by this season of Lost..

I didnt think I'd ever say that but I really think nothing is happening week to week...

The latest episode.. 11? is really poor

I wouldn't say dissapointed but it is very formulaic in how it goes through a season, 10-12 is almost certainly building for the finale, it has tended to do this before with sub-arcs within a season with a few episodes building for the reward later on.

I liked 11. The banter between Miles and hurley was hilarious ;)

Not as good as the Hurley in a Camper Van episode though, that was easily the funniest. "whatever... red... neck... man...!" hheehehe
