Lost Season 5 (Sunday, Sky1, 9PM)

the actor who plays richard alpert does not wear eye liner for the show thats just show his eyes look.

there was a big conspiracy about it months ago on the lost forums and thats why it was mentioned in one of the last few episodes as an inside joke for the people who knew about that thread :p

Okay, thanks. Don't know why they need to keep taking breaks though, it's only a 16 episode run, lazy actors.

some of the breaks are timed because of the way american tv channels sell adverts.

the prices they can demand are based on viewing figures for a specific period so channels will put breakes in there most popular series to make sure they will be airing for that period

Looking on Lostpedia there isanother catch up episode this series but it will be aried on the smae night as the two part final episode. I wonder if Sky will do that or string it out over three weeks? Either way there are not many left.

Also looking forward to seeing if the 100th episode is special.

I knew i shouldnt have read the spoliers! i know everything!!! ahh

All im gonna say is that the next few episodes and the last 2 episodes will be amazing!

All your questions will be solved, but there will be new ones like always lol

The episode after the latest US one (which was aired yesterday I believe) will be about Richard Alpert :D :D
Theorists believe he is either a survivor of the Black Rock crew or somehow an immortal ancient Egyptian. I would like to know how the writers will explain either of these outcomes :p

After watching the episode last night - a friend of mine has noticed a bit of a flaw in the continuity.

*BEWARE SPOLIERS*

When Faraday talks to Chang and says that he is from the future, he states this was the first time they had spoken in 3 years (and the first time about being from the future).

However, as later in the episode Faraday comes to an untimely end - this does not fit in with the Comic Con footage where Chang is on camera stating things along the lines of "I know in the future George W Bush is the president (was at time of filming) and people transfer data via something called the "Internet" and that my people are killed in a purge"

After this is said the camera man states "this is useless no one will believe this / no one will see this" and turns the camera off - and the voice is Faraday.

This isn't something I can confirm is canon, so possibly to be taken with a pinch of salt - but it is a major mess up anyway, if it IS canon, it messes up the storylane (Or now REALLY takes a tangent) or if it is NOT canon - it is a pointless piece that messes with the story and implies things that didn't happen (and confuses fans, well more so with Lost :p )

What do you guys think?

Rich

None of the extra stuff from comic con and the like is canon. Just nice little extras for the more hardcore fans as you can guarantee the vast majority of its watchers won't have seen any of those shorts or know they even exist.

Has this been confirmed though? Even if it is not (and I am sitting on the fence) that particular video I am refering too is the stupidiest one they could have made - it doesn't just hint toward the series direction or the island's powers, but hints that a now DEAD character has passed the knowledge of time travel to the one person trying to attain it!

They serve as teasers for the fans at comic con, for people who weren't there and watch them on youtube -- trying to spanner them into the lore isn't going to work :(

Although being Lost there is always that chance it is yet to happen!! ;)

Where'd you hear this? I can't find anything in the press release?

I'll go with the idea that Daniel isn't actually dead.

Being the only man on the island who fully grasps the concept of time travel, it would seem counter productive to kill him off :p
