Noticed a few people are doing the Barrow Downs in the Kinship, i'm going to be going there next as i've done everything else in Bree-Land, so maybe we could get a Fellowship going at some point?

yeah good idea, some of the southern barrow downs quests are quite hard solo.

Sigh, just tried the tomb of something or other ( cant remeber ) in evendim got to the big massive turtle and we died several times, Norgnoal or something like that.

Is it possible for me to copy the LOTRO folder off a friend to save me downloading updates? its been about a year since ive played.

You need to install the game as there are registry things, so you need to get your hands on an installer, if you have disks that'll do, (then replace the folder with your friends) otherwise your going to have to download the whole thing.

< In no order!

Balance of Man +1% to Evade, Parry, and Block 30(@ level) Enmity of the Hillmen (150)

Upper-cut Grants a Melee ability 13 Enmity of the Dead (50)

Tactics and Might Bonus +5% to Conjunction healing and damage 19 (@ level) Enmity of the Dead II (100)

Man Sword-damage Bonus +2% to 1H and 2H Sword damage 25 (@ level) Enmity of the Dead III (150)

Man of the Fourth Age +20 Will 13(@ level) Enmity of the Wargs (50)

Return to Bree Allows you to teleport back to Bree 29(@ level) Enmity of the Wargs II (150)

Where is the best place to do these?

Another thing of note for f2p players, something I missed about the patch coming on Tuesday. From tuesday the Lone Lands quests and instances will all be free for f2p players. So thats a fair chunk of the levelling in the 20s covered for free now too.

Warg enminites at the hill near the oathbreaker captain in north downs, there is a warg hill, best place for warg slaughter

Dead best done in the barrowdowns i suppose, easier than the fields of fornost

Hillmen are best slaughtered at the camp due east from esteldin in the north downs, they have an encampmanet up on a hill, plenty to be butchered

Well the f2p is definitely good, but the best way to play the game is indeed still VIP. No restrictions, all zones (apart from expansions) all quests, monster play. The f2p does make for a good taster though.

jesus ive never been drawn into a game this much that i never want to put it down, im level 25 still on f2p and done everything i can on f2p and going to sub tommorow. Its drawn me in like wow never could, maybe its the great community, im always getting involved in discussions on globalfff, easy to get groups for instances, and when i do the great barrows everytime theres been experienced players talking the low levels through the instance, and all very friendly.

Yep, it's definitely when you hit GB that you realise how good the community is. Very, very few higher level players will be unwilling to run over and take you through it.

what do i do to subscribe for vip? Is moria worth getting or should i not bother til im higher level?

All you need to do is set up a monthly account , should be able to upgrade to a pay monthly on the cog accounts website. Moria is not necessary until around level 48-50, unless you specifically want to play the extra classes now.
