Certainly possible, although I think unlikely he will become anything more than another Nani at best

Totally agree with this, the squad he left was put together to win No 20 and no more, too many players on their last legs along with players who were not Utd quality to start with.

Koeman has done well, but not brilliantly imo. Still has a lot to prove to deserve a position like that at Utd.
 
Koeman would be a real coup, but he says he always sees out his contracts and won't be leaving Southampton this year.
 
Lol, thats not news. No club would tell a top manager that a job is his if the guy currently in the job decides to leave.
 
No club would also leak that either, its the press running with another spin on the same story, UTD have been getting Mourinho since Fergie left, He has what joined UTD about 4 times all ready they have spun contract stories multiple times too.

LVG wouldnt walk away despite what UTD fans may hope for anyway.
 
Yeah, LvG genuinely thinks he is doing as good a job as anyone would be. I expect that after the final he will be told that he is being replaced and that he can leave be mutual consent or he will be sacked.

A few days later he will announce that he is taking early retirement for whatever reason and we will thank him for his wonderful work and appoint a new manager.

Im not convinced Ed Woodward can see this though

He may be "World Class" at getting Sponsorships etc but at the actual football side he is still a novice, especiallly given the 1st two managers he has hired have been dismal failures.

I hope it does just mean waiting a week until after the FA Cup and then LvG will be fired, but I really wouldnt be surprised at this point if LvG stayed the 3rd year of his contract

I seem to remember Man Utd fans talking about how LvG is truly world class, and you would begin to dominate again?

Not that many managers have won titles / CLs in multiple countries (and the former was in Spain and Germany, so not exactly easy leagues to win whatever team you have)
