LOWEST PRICING IN UK ON NVIDIA: 1060 £179.99, 1070 £349.99 & 1080 £449.99 !!

Anyway finally but the bullet and ordered the Gigabyte GTX1080 G1 paid a fair price £459, having read some reviews, most seem pretty positive therefore I think this is a good price, just hope they won't drop by another £50 tomorrow when Vega is launched lol

Was that price from the rainforest? It is an amazing price for what you get.

Tempted - would any of these be a worthy step up from a 970GTX with it's 4GB (well 3.5GB) RAM? Driving a 2560*1440 60Hz panel and struggling to run some games in native res now! :(

A 1080 is a good doubling of power compared to a 970.

And perfect for a 1440p resolution. 60hz is a limiting factor tho. I think actually the 1080 is too much power for that refresh rate.

My suggestion is if you have a Gsync panel then do some homework on whether a 1070 is better than a 1080 for you. If you have a Freesync panel then same applies Vega 56/64.
