Ah cheers for that. Yes, the reaction of both brothers will definately be interesting. I hardly watched the last 3 episodes properly - the killer of the week focus was waning on me completely. I did get the Pierce storyline though.
It could partly be to reduce costs if they are renewing for another season as viewings has gone down a little though nothing huge but enough that they might have to shed a little to get the go ahead for another season - I'm guessing she isn't playing the part pro bono and definitely isn't going to be cheap.
EDIT: Though having a dig around it doesn't look like she has any other significant work going forward, could partly due to be the stuff she is going through in her personal life maybe wants to take a break and is still attached to the show in some capacity so might not be the end - though could just be for flashbacks, etc.
Gonna take a wild assumption that they are hedging their bets with her at the moment for both of those reasons.
Oh well. Guess we'll never see what daddy's grand plan is, let alone his possible presence on earth. No big loss overall I suppose as the show was superb in its own right.
The rate Fox cancels shows I don't think I'll bother watching anything else they produce - was already on the fence on that, the scheduling for season 3 was all over the place and lost a lot of viewers because of it as well.
Not up to date but only just seen its been canned and I know it ends on what producer said was huge cliffhanger so not sure if I should carry on, I hate shows having no ending
