MACRO cheats? No Recoil etc

There's just no excuse for any modern game to be allowing that, EA simply don't want to invest the time and money into solving problems like this - but that's not exactly news.

Here's another

But the responses are exactly what's wrong with cheaters getting away with it!

Ya'll 0.5 k/d who just can't accept the fact that there's tons of legit good players in the wild.

Good stuff mate, well done. Clean Aim.

The way you check corners is really impressive. Thats a sign of skill, not cheating.

Biggest problem with Battlefield unlike Call of Duty is the lack of spectator mode and the vast majority of people cheating amongst the GOOD players! ( Seen people play like this before, but when it comes to tourny on a different computer play VERY badly )

I've known Enders for ages I'm almost 99% sure he's not cheating - I was a sub on his twitch for a while, he's just very very good and has pumped thousands of hours into the game.

His aim doesn't look like a bot - he does miss a lot of shots, he's just very fast and he knows how to move quickly.

There's no part in that video that looks suspect to me.

Sorry :D

99% said Nadia wasn't cheating either :D

But hey it's Battlefield

I mean, it's possible he's cheating, but as someone who's banned thousands of cheaters from CSGO - there's nothing in that video that I can point to and say "Yep, he's cheating" there's actually no part that comes close.

I think you also need to accept, that when you get to a certain level in a game like that (legit) where you've played 2000+ hours and it's literally all you do (stream for a day job) to an average player, it looks impossible.

At the end of the day, only he really knows what he's doing! :)

Yeah - which is why we need machines and data to make the decisions around stuff like this, (and it works very well when done properly)

If there's a machine (bot, ESP or anything else) there will be recognisable patterns to his behaviour that a machine will be able to detect that a human will miss, or at least can't be sure of - especially if someone is not being blatant, and it's in the top echelons of the game.

For example, some games record the demos and telemetry of all players and keep hold of them, when a new cheat is detected you can model it - then run that model against all of the historic demos of games played up until that point, to find all of the people who have been 'getting away with it' and ban them in one big wave, (which just happened with DMA cards).

Warowl is a bit goofy, but he's done a lot of vids about cheating in CSGO and how the Overwatch system works.

Was watching the Enders video, there's deffo some suspect moments though apart from going for EVERYONE that doesn't always appear on the minimap.

Here for example, he's shooting at a guy in the room, kills him, does an almost 360 switch to the right looking at a direction where no enemies are currently showing on the minimap, lo and behold an enemy suddenly appears pinged in the area he was recently looking. He does this a lot.. Here's some frames for reference

I would love to see a camera of his PC setup from behind him while he plays!

I just don't think he's cheating, I just think he's very good..

Haven't watched the video but as an a general point a very good player will know things like spawn points and the flow of a game, and know when and where the next threat is likely from, from seeing how other players are behaving, etc. which might not be intuitive for all players, etc.

Its a shame us PC players cant turn off cross play. Just dont get why we cant?

That's part of the appeal. The companies don't care as long as its taking in cash. They don't want to make the best game experience. They want the most addictive game experience.

Without playing the game extensively I couldn't be sure but there is a couple of bits which look very cheaty where he is already lined up on people, while he could have guessed roughly where the other players were, before they appeared visually. But there was one bit where someone pinged behind a rock very briefly on the mini map which he then responded to but if he'd been using ESP/wallhack should have known they were there the first time he was shooting at people nearby... but the ability to combine engaging multiple enemy at the same time with very on target aim as reading the mini map to that level in that situation is a bit suspect.

One thing which doesn't help - spectator mode or recorded replays often use quite low frequency discrete game updates, sometimes even as low as 5-10 FPS, which can make it look a lot like someone snapped to a target or did a slick 180 instant turn to target when if you saw them actually playing it doesn't look as polished.

This thread is making me CRAVE a good FPS

I spend a lot of time these days playing my Quake 2 RTX Horde mod, I just find most of the big FPS games now utterly meh to play let alone the average quality of player as a person :(

Died to hacker in the WZ Gulag there and it was a blatent lock on headshot killcam. Amazes me that the account has got to level 35 and is not immediately picked up when people have those type of settings enabled. Of course hiding it better would be tougher for detection but in this case it is pretty annoying...

I assumed I was talking to someone who'd understand the background behind the principles I was alluding to, given how fundamental they are to this context, without having to go back to basics on every aspect.

That you seem to have mistaken me talking about community spaces/servers (and how those principles can be adapted) for community mechanical turk type cheat appraisal given your supposed field is concerning.

People like ColdAsIce appear to be understanding what I'm referring to fine.

These were the best days of the internet and gaming communities. DICE/EA and Activision were the quickest to get greedy. Removed being able to purchase your own servers. Removed mods and in some cases didn't even provide servers but instead used peer to peer LOL :|

It pays developers to make their games reasonable susceptible to cheats, Rust is a great example in that regard. Go onto any busy Rust server (300+ pop) and your guaranteed there will be at least 3/4 cheaters in it. Cheaters will get server banned and persistent cheaters who rack up multiple violations and eventually get game banned forever. The problem is cheaters in that game are willing to money on buying new copies on Rust on a new Steam account, one guy admitted to Camomo (famous Rust Admin on Youtube) that he spends $300 a month on Rust buying new accounts. Facepunch know about this but there's no financial incentive for them to doing anything about it.

Remember the tarkov days when the console stick players used to pan the camera round on maps like woods until they noticed aim assist twitch then simply blind fire at trees/bushes for free kills.

Did anyone actually believe Nadia was legit? :D Was pretty funny seeing Kotaku run a full article on her. About how she is the best female COD player out there and the men are just jealous xD
