Those DMA cheats are going to make a mess out of the mil-sims, and games without a strong anti-cheat, or where it's not been kept as a high priority.
Was unaware of these methods of cheating. Its sad IMHO, and a waste of time, for me at least. I imagine most of these cheaters are teens with not much else to do, not judging BTW.
I don't think cheating will ever go unfortunately, its like piracy. Any protection can and will be hacked eventually.
A lot of people supported Nadia saying she doesn't cheat, this went on for years. She then got a perm ban when she came back to COD
I have no idea who these (presumably) people are. Assuming streamers?Biffle
Symphany
Zlaner
Plus there's a lot of Battlefield 2042 and PUBG streamers using cheats... Worse ones are on Facebook

Was not aware of this. Its sad IMHO people stoop to these levels, and it defeats the purpose of playing the games in the first place. I'm surprised but not shocked, it happens in all walks of life, people looking to improve or beat others without putting the necessary effort in. The effort is the improvement, not the end result.Tbh, one of the biggest problems are account boosters trying to make money (and they can make quite a bit) so spending some money on the hardware to do it makes sense.
They (the cheaters) basically make money by logging into a lower-skill players account for them, boosting them up a whole load of ranks - usually so they can play alongside higher skilled friends, or they're in denial and think they're stuck in their match making rank.
You get rage-hackers, the sorts of people you see in videos who are just wrecking games for fun, but that's the tip of the iceberg - there are lot of people who try to do it under the radar, and they're doing it for cash.

Toxicity is annoying, but inevitable, just look at social media. I still play, but have low expectations of other team members, turn off voice chat and just have fun in short games, and move on. However, I have the benefit of age and experience, and lack of time! Life's too short to get stressed about the meaningless self-imposed actions and behaviour of others (not that I'm perfect by any means).Yeah at the end of the day, human nature drives it - people will always find ways to cheese the system and spoil it for others.
One of the biggest problems with these games, is that many of them are absolutely huge, hundreds of thousands - millions connected to servers in a single region alone - in some cases PC and console mixed together, it's an extremely difficult and expensive war for any game developer to fight, but it has to be fought somehow.
I quit competitive games ages ago, but it wasn't cheating that did it for me - it was toxicity, just having to put up with people having absolute meltdowns, team members that grief - that was what killed it for me, and in some ways that's even harder to solve than cheating.
I bet @Neil79 is CallOfShame
I don't think you've quite grasped how much streamers couldn't care less about this tiny group of people thinking everyone and their nan cheats.Putting the fear of god into streamers

It's a shame this thread has become yet another place for the same group to talk about how every single person is cheating - and those videos are honestly comical. It is fully 'old man shouts at cloud'.
I don't see anyone claiming that every single person cheats, or even that the majority of people cheat.
What is obvious though is that the number of people cheating is more than just the blatant cases with things like aimbots. You've got people using these no recoil macros, toggling ESP and 2D radar etc and it's very difficult to detect and ban those types of cheaters.
I'm no fan of CallOfShame or badboybeaman either, a lot of their content is absolute nothingburgers.
