MACRO cheats? No Recoil etc

Finally some action from Respawn about the amount of config cheating on roller.. A lot people crying about it already which shows just how much players abused it. Big roller Streamers like Extesyy who made a name on skills like movement etc isnt happy, he denies ever using config cheats but then isnt happy about the change because it affects his own configs ?? doesnt make a lot of sense if he legit.

Yeah I mean EA are rinsing the hell out of a free to play game, whilst spending next to nothing on resources, to solve the problem.

It's EA I guess... It's nothing new, (although I do feel sorry for the pro players, who invest their time to get to that level, then stuff like this happens....)
 
Valorant - their anti cheat is quite effective by all accounts but who knows, I play it daily and in the past few years have only seen maybe 4-5 blatant cheaters.
Just like CS though sometimes I wonder with some players, the skill level is high and you have to accept that some people are very good at the game.
But if you want a relatively cheat free experience then give it a go.

Yes I understand that, by online security is a threat every business suffers from, and unless EA were doing nothing to defend themselves, they can hardly be blamed for being compromised.

I get your point, but EA, historically, have some of the worst game servers with low tick rates and more frequent downtime than some of the other big players.

This is likely a result of them trying to be as cheap as possible when it comes to hosting. Obviously companies want to maximise profit, but it shouldn't impact game quality.

There is a concerted effort to cheat in a way that it is not easily detectable.
 
So I just watched some twitch clips of the incidents and there were times that the pros didn't even realise aimbot was being toggled on because that's how stupid aim assist already is built into the game LOOOL.
 
The cheaters are way ahead of the anti-cheats at this point, unless companies are willing to ban players, or machine learning has pixel perfect anti cheat detection... and then acting on that with an auto ban, good luck to anyone wanting a fun time once you rank up to certain levels.

That's pretty insane.
 
Wouldnt the only way to stop cheaters surely be to have a list of servers (like the good old days) where some have passwords to enter and some not.
Have public servers and private servers where forums / clans can play and ben whitelisted (and blacklisted if found cheating)

Id happily pay to join a moderated community of players where none cheat. I think it'll go this way in the future, but not sure how long it'll be.

All the hackers will eventually end up just playing with other hackers :D
