Mafia 3

Loved the first one, picked it up not that long ago, I have 2 on steam and that is definitely the best imo. Especially with the PhysX.

I think this is a game that is gonna grow on me. Not taken completely yet but I've barely explored the city or unlocked anything.

I've only played an hour but I really liked the hour I had played. Looking forward to getting in a few sessions this weekend.

Mafia 2 was ok but not as good as first

I enjoyed both of the last 2 Mafia games and the way this one has started makes me think I'll like this one too.

Just had an amazing police chase.

Punched a few people at a laundromat and some cheeky bugger got to the phone. A cop circled the block and then another appeared on the road I was driving down. I found a ramp on a building (ground to roof style) and launched off that.

Landed sideways then rolled upside down, sprinted to the nearest car nearly dead with no adrednaline shots left and bombed it up a hill to a telephone mast. Crashed into a dish down the hillside and currently legging it with a beautiful view of the city.

Anyone running this on a similar rig to mine?

Xeon 5650 @4.5Ghz, Asus GTX760 CUII, 16Gb Corsair Vengeance. I usually game at 1920x1080.

I can't think of a fitting caption but I am sure there's plenty!

I am half tempted to do a sort of vehicle wikipedia. Just the name of the vehicle, under each type (van, coupe) etc and possibly top speed. How would I go about doing that easily?

Maybe a wix website?
 
Game looks great until the point I got to actually play - the 30 fps thing is godawful so think I'm relegated to waiting for the patch.

Such a shame, love Mafia cant wait to get into it - as many have said really shot themselves in the foot with this.

Secretly hoped G-synch might help even though no reason it would.
 
OK imgur gallery, that works. Going to compile an image and names of each vehicle and hopefully get in done in around a few days if anyone's interested?

It doesn't matter on the rig mate, no one will get good performance until it's fixed. I am hoping they fix the graphics too and SLI, graphically it's god awful imo for a "AAA" title.
 
I know youtube destroys image quality but watching some gameplay vids at 1080/60 it does look very blurry despite the uploader saying the game is running on max settings with AA on max and resolution at 1080 or 1440.

SweetFX seems to be doing a better job with its sharpness and SMAA filters enabled.
 
Wheres the Cheapest place to buy the "Deluxe edition" key for PC?

Rip off on the usual cd key site,at that price i might as well buy it on the PS4 which is also expensive.
 
Found a construction yard, but a barbed fence all the way round. Only truck I found is just too short to actually get over.. But I shall persist. I want in.
