Best car almost always wins although it's always in motion what's the best car. For instance when JB won the title I doubt his car was the best for a majority of the season. Still the best package wins, as with Alonso's titles when Kimi clearly had the faster car but broke more often. So that year the best car was more reliable instead of faster.
It's a hard thing to label but I'd say the last time it happened in my eyes would be 95. Hill clearly had the car to take the title but not the pace or mental strength.

Looking forward to qually this week, never really that bothered but interested to see if Button can get his first Mclaren pole!
Still going for a Lewis win though!

It won't be boring because unlike Red Bull these two Mclaren will actually be able to race each other, for now
The Lewis Jenson battle is the most interesting team mate battle by far and if they are at the front end, it wil make it even more interesting.
In fact do people think that battle deserves it's own thread to stop it over taking the race threads each week?
According to my quick calculations, the HRTs actually managed to get within 107% of Hamilton in second practice!

Is massa being used as some sort of test bench? Can't understand how he can be so far from his teamate let alone the front cars. Yes its a bad car but it can't be that bad.

They could always bring out the super flexi wing they tried at the end of last season, flap themsleves to pole.
are you trying to say LH and JB don't race each other? Where have you been the last two years.
They raced last weekend and they've race before. Even side by side through 3 corners.
Off the top of my head China last year lap 34
or take a look at spa when Msc took a good chunk off rosbergs car when he overtook him

Makes a change from having Red Bull 0.5 seconds faster than everyone else.
