Malaysian GP 2009 - Race 2/17

Yeah, but to be honest Davidson's knowledge is as good (maybe better for modern F1 cars?) and Dave Croft is fantastic as the main commentator. Holly Samos in the pits is pretty good as well.
Wouldn't say Davidson is as good as Brundle. When I was listening it sounded to me as if Davidson and Croft were talking to each other, only momentarily looking at what was happening on screen.

how can you guys like brundle?
:eek::confused::mad:

I like his humour. I love it when he does stuff like he did to the toyota mechanics.

He never seems that biased to me and when he appoints blame or discusses blame for an incident he usually see both sides. He doesn't get that caught up in hype come out with lines like Allen and Murray used to, "It's Jenson superstar, megastar, future champion, champion in waiting, gives to the poor Button.

Was something to do with him being dead set for a podium at a race there before a fault hit or something, and then he didn't have a drive anymore?

I can't remember exactly.

What's the story behind this. I can remember it being mentioned for the Hungary race last year, but can't recall what the reason was!
Can't remember, probably on the web. Think he is banned from the country or something.

That was legendry. "Lets go back in, I'm enjoying this!"

Is this a bad time to tell you I love him too?

Mainly for his pit walks and silly antics granted, but come on, anythings less annoying than fathead!

anything better than fat head, but R5L is better than brundle :). His pit walk is good, but he is fairly annoying.

Mostly because he has the experience to comment and he has no favourites - he criticises everyone in equal measure :D

As people have said, his winding-up of the Toyota mechanics will become a classic.

I can see Martin Brundle becoming the new Murray - always of course assuming that F1 lasts beyond the next couple of years and doesn't end up becoming the Judges Max, Bernie and Charlie show.

I like it when he tries to get the drivers that won't talk to have a few words before the race or when he cuts in over the top of a foreign station.

Toyota got on my bits a touch when they tried to act like doorman and shepard him away. His reply along the lines of this is a free bit of tarmac I can stand and film whatever I like.

I hope so too, was a very entertaining gridwalk, shame it doesn't appear to be on youtube.
It hasn't?! That is disgraceful. Going to be one of the classic events of his gridwalk career that. :p

I think that was my favourite grid moment EVER! :D
I wonder what would happen in a fight between the Toyota mechanics and Martin Brundle! :D He's got a wingman with a fairly weighty camera so I'm betting on Brundle.

There's only one way to find out....

Ah yes, Brundles annual "holiday".. always timed to be during the Hungarian GP ;)

actually timed for Le Mans 24 which he used to race in every year - I think it was contractual for that reason anyway (on ITV)

Whats all this BS about him being banned from the country - how do these rumours get legs to start with hahahaha
