Malaysian Grand Prix 2013, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

No point as what Webber did at Silverstone was not in the same ballpark.

Vettel was not slowing down at Silverstone at the teams request for starters, Webber did not overtake him for seconds.

Don't look at me Im not the one confirming or denying it. I cant remember the GP!

My Italian is rusty, but they've failed a 200kg test (similar to a deflection test?) on the splitters and have been asked to sort it out before China.

Draw your own conclusions. But in a nutshell the RBRs were asked to hold position, Webber ignored it and also ignored the repeated radio calls to back off, but ultimately failed to make the pass (he got close a couple of times).

Horner refereed to this in his post race interview with the BBC on Sunday, so he hasnt forgotten about it.

It's already been posted..please keep up :)

We don't know what has happened since that incident, Webber may have been punished strongly for that or there could have been subsequent agreements.

Webber said it was decided before the race and presumably they both agreed to that rather than it be a call made mid-race which may or may not make a difference to how it played/plays out.

Belated 2p.... Loving the vettel fans saying he ruthless/great. Personally I think he is a douche bag for defying his bosses then making out he is sorry after, just who exactly is in charge at red bull. Having said that, it made for an exciting conclusion to the race. Looks like another season for him is highly likely.

I must say, i think Vettel was a bit of scumbag for doing what he did in malaysia however i would have had an ounce more respect for him if he had just admitted and said " i wanted to win".

I probably would have then thought " ok you are a bit of a **** but fair enough, you are a racing driver and want to win at all costs"

Instead he just made up a few rubbish storied about how he either didnt understand the message or was very sorry about what he did .

I could understand if Vettel was significantly ahead in the table but being so early in and Mark Webber still fighting for the Drivers Title it was a terrible thing to do, Never liked Vettel and never will he just stabbed his team mate in the back.

In that situation, RBR would ask Webber to move over if Vettel was far ahead of Webber in the championship (but still fighting other drivers).

He needs to focus on being a racing driver and then worry about being a nice guy when he retires, a la Schumacher.

history won't remember this for long anyway until he retires and all the journalists that didn't get the interview/photo they wanted start drudging up the past ala andrew benson and darren heath

People still whine on about Schumi in 94 :D even though it was Hill's fault :)
