Too early to vote, awaiting Ferrari International Assistance review of Vettel post-race collision, taking steering wheel away instead of leaving it installed, riding back on Sauber sidepod when the safety/medical car was right there before his ride hitch began.

4 from me. DRS too powerful and apart from Vettel it was a snooze fest.

Chuffed for Max and Vandoorne.

Barmy finish to an otherwise fairly dull race. Good to see Vandoorne do well in the McLaren and pleased for Verstappen managing to finish a race without another breakdown!

Steering wheel is small beer. Riding on the side pod when a safety/medical car was on the scene is my issue.

Think it was six of one and half a dozen of the other. They both weren't anticipating what the other was going to do.

Should get pulled up on the steering wheel/ riding on the side of the car though. What's the point in those rules if they don't uphold them?

What's the point in putting the steering wheel back? The car had 3 wheels on it! It was going on a lorry within 5 minutes.

The steering wheel rule is so marshals can move the car easily during a race, which they clearly didn't need to do on this occasion. Any punishment for it would be ridiculous.

The riding on the sidepod is something that's happened numerous times (who doesn't remember Mansell giving Senna a lift with the marshal trying to pull Senna off the car?). It's hardly an issue, but weird that he didn't choose the comfy seat I suppose.

The only question is what's so special about the Ferrari steering wheel that requires the driver bringing it back himself where possible...

Ferrari International Assistance are not going to do anything about the steering wheel and riding on the car. I think they will give them a free pass on the gearbox too.

"Article 43.3 of F1's sporting regulations states only that: "After receiving the end-of-race signal all cars must proceed on the circuit directly to the post race parc ferme without any unnecessary delay, without receiving any object whatsoever and without any assistance (except that of the marshals if necessary)."

Alonso and Webber got done for doing it.

It doesnt matter, the rules are the rules. it doesn't say replace unless its going to be craned.
Same with giving a lift, it is now banned, although i agree its a silly rule, but unless its repealed it should be enforced.

a fine would be a perfectly reasonable response and not in anyway ridiculous.
