Bottas sucks compared to Rosberg. It's a shame he's getting another year.

Merc need Verstappen longer term, he's easily the next best driver of the future. He's trouncing Ricciardo in qualifying, has better race pace. If anyone goes back and watches 2007 or 2008 all you'll see is comments about how Hamilton doesn't wait for a safe pass but just makes it happen. That is what champions do, back then they were saying if you did wait you might be safer but you'd be unlikely to end up a champion if you had no willingness to take risks. Also goes back to 2011 was it when people like to pretend Button 'beat' Hamilton, there were numerous races he had vastly superior pace and got better results in many races. Sure some of that cost him(though mostly Massa hitting Hamilton which 5 years later magically Hamilton doesn't do but Massa still cuts in on everyone), but the fact was he was genuinely in the title race while Button never showed the speed or aggressiveness to ever get anywhere near winning the title. He may have ended up with less points, who cares, the pace and ability to be higher in races more often was obvious.
Some people like to say Max should wait for better moments with a couple of moves but the reality is that is bull. In Canada I would still put the blame on Vettel, he just wasn't paying attention to his outside, that move didn't cost Verstappen and gained him likely 2 places, which also meant he was not stuck behind a slower car and was showing significantly higher pace than Ricciardo but then his car failed. That at some stage will be the same difference, where Max gets within reach of a title due to driving aggressively while someone else will hang back on those attempts and be an also ran, technically in the title fight mathematically, but not in reality.
Bottas also isn't nearly as bad as being made out, make Ferrari significantly more competitive and those times Rosberg qualified half a second down, he's be in 5th instead of 2nd as well, likewise the races Rosberg had poor pace he'd be in 5th and struggle to gain positions while 2 years ago he'd start 2nd and no one behind would get close.
If this were any of the last three years then Bottas would be picking up easy 2nd places all year long, think about Hungary, if Merc had a massive advantage there then with Hamilton's penalty Bottas would have qualified on pole and had an easy run to a win. If Hamilton had say 2-3 bad qualifying sessions per season + 3-4 mechanical issues that meant he couldn't qualify on pole then you have Bottas picking up uncontested wins in 3-4 races, a decent shot in the 2-3 ones Hamilton just isn't on top form and picking up easy seconds most of the season, and that perfectly describes what happened to Rosberg for the majority of 3 seasons.
I wonder if TheStig(or whatever his name is) happens to post from the same IP as the 'new' guy who also seems to post anti Hamilton pro Vettel nonsense.
Fun fact: Michael Schumacher + Ferrari = 5 WDC
Vettel + Ferrari + Alonso + Ferrari = 0 WDC
Nope - already checked
Suggest winding it in a bit please, much like the same people already giving it the same nonsense.
check every now and then, he'll forget the proxy one time or another
I thought it was 7am race start. Balls.wtf 8 oclock start, to early.
<insert something about V6 mistakes here>Raikkonen with engine issues. Ferrari imploding!
