My bias? It's a British forum with British comments about supporting a British person?

If Vettel FELT that something is wrong, he was right. He was there and no telemetry, electronics or artificial intelligence can prove otherwise!

lol, there are extremely few forums where anyone would defend Vettel and bias... saying it was fair and natural for Vettel to choose to hit Hamilton with his car in response to his own negligence.... it's amazing you have the balls to accuse others of bias when saying something so utterly stupid. Even Ferrari and Vettel eventually admitted full culpability.

That'll do.

Bottas 7 tenths down. Really should be significantly closer.

Good work by Gasly, Ocon and Vandoorne.

Don't forget he was on the new aero package, but that package wasn't working at all well to the degree that Hamilton went back to the old one. Given the choice Bottas would almost certainly have done the same. But for the team to have more data and a better chance to make those upgrades either work at the next race or be ruled out as absolutely not working it's better for the team if Bottas continued with the new aero so they get more running with it.

Hamilton flat out decided the new package was slower with the setups they tried. Bottas isn't at all competitive with Hamilton and I think with a really competitive team up against them they need a better driver than him, but the gap today probably includes a few tenths extra as a result of a aero package not working well.

Indeed. Clearly trolling for Vettel.

I wonder if TheStig(or whatever his name is) happens to post from the same IP as the 'new' guy who also seems to post anti Hamilton pro Vettel nonsense.

It's painful reading some of the childish rubbish on here yesterday and today (from both sides).

Corking lap from Hamilton and Mercedes (well Hamilton) finally sorted some of their issues, but Ferrari had far greater race pace before qualifying so it might make for an interesting race tomorrow. Will be fun watching Vettel trying to drive through the field, but without a safety car he will be 6th at best as the Red Bulls are too fast this weekend to catch on pace alone.

Impressive weekend from Gasly thus far.

If I were Mercedes I'd basically be telling Hamilton to stay the **** away from Raikonnen, Vettel should fly through the field so simply increasing the points gap on him should be the goal.

Seb doesn't deserve to win this championship. Too many mistakes, too many lost opportunities.

After the fiasco in Singapore, Seb doesn't deserve to be a Ferrari driver either. If I am the team boss, I'd fire him.

Max should be disqualified for the rest of the season.

I can see why Skeeter stopped posting in here now...
I was going to ask what happened to him...

I'm absolutely not a Vettel/Ferrari fan but I'm also not over the moon that his car had an issue, would much rather see the WDC decided on track than due to technical issues. Nevertheless it'll be interesting to see Vettel coming through the pack.

The form of Bottas is really quite worrying. He's had a pre-season and plenty of races now, so I don't think there's a valid excuse to say that he's still adjusting to the car. Sure, Hamilton has been in that car for years now and is very familiar with it, but the gap to Bottas is just too large. He's rapidly making Rosberg look better by the day, or perhaps finding out his own natural level...

+1

Even though the result didn't go the way I wanted it to, 2010 was one of the most exciting seasons in recent years because, going into the final race of the season, four drivers from three teams could have theoretically won the WDC.

Yeah, I don't see him having a bright future in F1. At most he'll land a midtier seat as a safe pair of hands.

Yeah I'm not sure whats up with Bottas. I feel he has the ability but does not seem to be capitalising on it. Maybe personal life in the background?

Definitely seems off his game.
