That's probably the only bit I really dislike, the air tagging system.
Reason being?

I don't like elements of luck in competitive games.
So what is everyones opinion on MvC3 then? I really am in two minds whether to buy it or not.
First time I played someone from here ggs! Damn that dog is worse than dhalsim lol
The idea behind marvel is that every character is broken. If any character hits you they can kill a character. That in itself is a form of balance.
The game also has so many potential options per character (unlike SFIV) that even in a decades time it is possible for someone to rock up to a tournament with some new strategy/setup that can beat the current top tier strat.
In SFIV everyone plays the characters in the same generic fashion and every one copies youtube strategies. Marvel allows a lot of freedom and has a much more interesting development through its lifespan.
So I just ordered MvC3. Let's see how it goes.
I was thinking about getting this but after watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNjm51dmagM I'm not gonna bother until Capcom sort out the damage... Marn takes down 2 players with Magneto... the game is just broke
the only thing that is broken in this game is the x-factor, the heath regen and chip damage on this is stupid, it turns any character into a beast once its on. one character comeback is not that hard now. sentinel is annoying but beatable, like sagat in sf4.
i have finalised my team to morrigan, viper and akuma. the only problem i find is i alway run out of meter, but unless something dramatic happen to the game, i am sticking with this team til the end of the life cycle of the game
I think there is one thing that was said in that video that could be true...
This game does not reward defense. "You mash buttons, you're more likely to win than the guy worrying about defense".
