US: Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (US timeline) *spoilers*

Didn't even make it to half way through episode 3 (guess I'm missing the bits above :D) it was just so incredibly tedious by that point I just had to find something better to do with my time.

Nice ep.

Not sure if they're trolling us with Coulson being a robot/LMD now.

Coulson keeps saying hes 'rusty', he has trouble unloading a gun, comments on 'should be muscle memory', and earlier in the ep Ward says to Coulson 'Fury gave you some autonomy for what you did' ..

Maybe they are leading up to Coulson having his consciousness transferred from his dead body to an artificial one? Maybe :p

I am not too sure what to make of this. I'll continue for now but it doesn't have me gripped like some series have done.

I honestly can't get into it :S maybe episode 4 will be better but I tried to watch episode 3 again but had to turn it off again after another 10 seconds or so on from where I was it just wasn't engaging me at all.

For me its not working as an adult prime time show and can't shake the thought that it would have been more suited to losing the 1 or 2 adult quips per episode and being aimed at early teens. It's the kind of thing i would have enjoyed as a kid on a Saturday afternoon/evening but just isn't working in it's current form.

But then what do i know seeing as i cringe at some of the shows i loved back then :p

Yeah I'm starting to feel that. Needs to get a bit darker and more action imo. Seems like a superhero NCIS >_>. Weekly bad guy you need to take down.

Agreed, every single character except Skye.

Yup Skye is definitely hawt

The only two characters that annoy me in this are the afore mentioned Kiera Knightly wannabe and the Scottish scientist who can decide which part of Scotland his accent belongs to.

And yes I'm aware he's a genuine Glaswegian but he's not doing himself any favours. All in all it's pretty much a switch off your brain and enjoy type of series. I can't really see it lasting more than one or two seasons and to be honest I wouldn't be too fussed if it was canned as the character development is such that I really don't care who lives or dies or what their background is . . . .

Again, I thought this one was just 'meh'.

In all honesty I don't think the characters are very good, everyone likes Coulson of course, but he doesn't get a lot of screen time and when he does it feels like he's baby sitting the rest of them rather than actually being a part of it.

The other characters are just either over-acted or I just don't care about them...eye candy shouldn't have to carry a programme like this.

One more thing, this is referencing episode 4 so if you haven't seen it yet...:

At the end of the episode she puts on the x-ray specs and sees the agent naked...can you imagine the uproar if the roles were reversed?
