*** Mass Effect 3 ***

The word bespoke in that quote doesn't make any sense. Bespoke means custom-made, unique, tailored. You can't have a "bespoke ending that everyone gets", because if everyone gets it, it's not bespoke.

Thats Bioware;)

LOL at the threads on BSN of people cancelling their SWTOR sub citing Mass Effect 3 as a reason:p ( i have never played it anyway, but I don't think I would do it if i did)

We all would, but accountants dictate how long you can spend on development, and their time & allocated $$$'s had obviously ran out.

ME3 was originally due to be released just before Xmas so they had already pushed it back, costing more money.

As for the Ashes DLC, it's just a cheap way to claw back more money to cover the cost of developing ME3 and SWTOR imho.

He is a pretty good character, and being a Prothean he should have been in the game by default. Which by all accounts he was.

Mass Effect is always March, most other EA titles are Oct/Nov.

Starts their financial year off well with a big title and then they cash in others at xmas. I have no problem with that at all.

With regards to development, Bioware have gone from spending 3-4 years on a AAA title to shoveling it out every 1-2 years but at an increased price.

Then release content that as dlc that should have been there in first place, borderline criminal!!!

But hey we knew this would happen with EA at the helm, You can't stop the coporate war machine!

But there has to be much more to it than that. That would be a solid statement if the rest of the game was terrible, it would be fine to blame EA for all of its failings, but it is literally only the ending that fails imo.

Seeing as people are quite negative about endings etc, should I hold off on buying this and wait for an "enhanced" or "GOTY" version?

I agree most of the game was good but felt very short compared to the previous 2. I'm sure they will flesh it out with pricey dlc though.

With regard to buying it now or GOTY edition. I don't think there will be a GOTY edtion, but i'd wait so you can get the dlc included in the price. You have waited past release so a few more months may not bother you much...

Oddly enough they moved the release date a fair bit before announcing the multiplayer, cue hordes of complaints that it was being delayed just for the multi.

Sadly the ME3: Final Hours thing seems to show they actually intended the ending the way it is. If they care enough about their fans they'll take the whole dream theory thing and run with it and claim that was the plan all along, however i get the feeling they won't. We'll get some carefully worded PR BS about the situation then they'll hope it blows over.

Apparently there is an N7 challenge this weekend for the coop, copy and pasted from facebook.

Operation: Goliath
Citadel Allied Command is mounting a galaxy-wide operation to cripple the Reapers’ shock troops: the turian-krogan hybrids known as “brutes.” To flush out Reaper ground forces, N7 teams are deploying to engage the enemy in key theaters. Heavy reinforcements are expected anywhere fighting begins.

Community Goal: Inflict heavy casualties on Reaper “brutes” on March 16th, 17th, and 18th.

Community Unlock: If this goal is met, all N7 squads will be awarded a Victory Pack that can be unlocked the following week.

Squad Goal: Successful extraction from a Reaper-held zone at a Silver threat level or higher.

Squad Unlock: Your squad will be granted a Commendation Pack.

My favorite line that really made me laugh-

"ESPECIALLY the ones who went down to Earth with him!"

I really need this soundtrack, but I don't want to give them anymore money!
