*** Mass Effect 3 ***

Got an email from Amazon today with the ME3 price on it, £18. I was really suprised how quickly and how much the price has come down on this.

I wasn't planning on buying the game until they released the day 1 DLC for free, or bundled it on the game disc. does anyone think they will do this and also fix the ending as I like ot think of the ME games as my favorite ever and don't want to potentially ruin it buy getting ME3 if the ending is rubbish.

I've heard there is a patch out, has this fixed the endings and/or removed the nweed for multiplayer?

They've repeatedly stated the ending wont be changed, & the only thing they will do is release an extended cut, comprising extra cut scenes to clarify things.

As for releasing the day 1 DLC free, i suppose they might well at some stage or other, as i expect another storm of protest when the extended cut ending DLC gets released, so that would be one way to quieten things down a bit.

It's £17 on Amazon UK and has free delivery option, I was also going to wait for the ending DLC. Yeah I agree, it is quite surprising how quickly the price has fallen, maybe they've slashed it due to the all the furore surrounding the ending/endings.
 
Not surprised tbh. Almost all games are about half price after a month with the exception of cod and a few others. I doubt it has anything to do with the endings.

Yeah I suppose so, makes you wonder why we ever buy games at release. Mind you, last game I pre-ordered for release day delivery was Skyrim, and I seem to remember it had a lowish pre-order price, £22 iirc, also got a tenner back in compensation:eek: as they (Asda) failed to deliver for release day.
 
I've only started playing this last weekend, so I've avoided this thread for fear of spoilers so excuse me if this has been asked before.. Does anyone feel the movement interface a little quirky. It seems very rigid to me and the character doesn't always go in the intended direction.

I loved the first two.. I hope this doesn't disappoint. The graphics look amazing.. but the controls are letting it down so far.

At times the graphics look great and at other times they look shockingly awful, plus the one-button-does-everything-action-action-action-key!!!!11!1! is VERY annoying
 
I have managed to get back into a bit...

Quite a shock though after
battling the Reaper
, to find you need to
choose whether the Quarians or Geth are wiped out - I chose the Geth for survival :) :)
.

I managed a peaceful solution, ending the conflict between Geth/Quarians, Legion still sacrificed himself for all the Geth though :(
