*** Mass Effect 3 ***

It will probably just be a text screen with the message - "WE HAVE NO IDEA" after the main credits.

No doubt they will do the bare minimum

Right at the end, when Buzz Aldrin is talking to the kid about "The Sheppard", i fully expect him to launch into a 5 minute monologue about how the fleet banded together to share food, whilst the Crucible scientists battled to recreate a Mass Relay, using scavenged debris etc etc, & the new cut scnes will consist of the fleet jumping thru the new relay to rescue joker et al, the end.

Sadly that's probably true

Beam onwards, I would imagine.

I think that is the last save it does.

Even that is beyond Bioware tbh. Not enough speculation

I did. I think it was just my paragon score wasn't high enough.

The option won't be available if you destroyed instead of rewriting the heretics in ME2 i believe, theres some other conditions over the course of the Quarian/Geth part of ME3 as well and after all that, you still high reputation.

I thought it was other way around. If you rewrote the heretics instead of destroying them, it counts against being able to choose peace. It's still possible if every other relevant decision you've made up until then has been deemed "correct" by the game. On all my ME2 saves, I rewrote the heretics.

Anyway, on two of my three playthroughs, I've been able to choose peace because I took my time doing sidequests and gaining rep before starting the quarian/geth storyline.

On another note, I got the geth engineer in a spectre premium pack the other day. It's very very nice. It has "hunter mode" which highlights enemies in red so you can see them through walls, and at a fairly long range too. Couple that with the normal engineer goodies like a turret and overload, and you end up with a very capable fighter. Not as good at racking up points as, say, a human vanguard, but I think it's better for the team overall.

Of course, hilarity ensues when the enemy we're fighting is geth, and my team-mates see my geth-shaped character moving towards them. Good thing friendly fire doesn't cause damage.

Just finished ME2 today as part of my replay through the Trilogy.. epic EPIC game!.. and an absolutely awesome finale. I forgot how involving and emotional this was, and it does really put into perspective what garbage they gave us for ME3.

i'll not start ME3 again until they release the DLC.

Doubt it will change much tbh. Hope I am wrong.

Yeah I know, expectations are not that high!.. But I rather wait and play it again when there is a "new" ending and some other DLC to make it worthwhile.

Finished everything in ME2 now(absolutely everything) as part of the big trilogy playthrough and tbh.....I am not sure I can be bothered about ME3! I thought I could block the ending out, but I don't think I can.

Such a shame because otherwise it is brilliant.

PS. Anyone seen that Bioware email? ....they are trying their hardest to **** all over their fans...I really don't understand how they can be so out of touch. They have handled this situation unbelievably badly

I installed this game last Wednesday and each day since I have not been able to connect to the servers at any point.

My firewalls are not the problem but I have heard that their servers have been playing up.

Any ideas?

Looks like theyve upped the Gold difficulty. Also seems that the infiltrator cloak does nothing to stop enemies spotting you.

Were you the last person left? Enemies have iirc always been able to magically see you on any difficulty if you're the last person alive. If you play a salarian you have no excuse for dieing even with a broken cloak :D

I haven't noticed an increase in gold difficulty but I dont play gold too often so I cant be sure. They did buff some of the enemies stats but that was a few weeks ago, theres a sticky on the bioware forums listing all the changes.

The thing about Gold is that it really requires a good group set up of both classes and people who can play them well (an adept who doesn't use stasis bubble is a bad adept for example) and people who either know how to work as a team or are on voice comms.

The worst part is it's just not worth doing when you consider how quick and easy silver challenges can be with an "ok" group.
