She didn't carry over from ME2 having died on the Reaper base, so in ME3 I got Admiral Raan (I think it was) instead.
Just done the Suicide mission on ME2, even though I have hardly done any loyalty missions and I just managed to keep everyone alive!
The plan was to do the bare minimum(no sidequests at all, no dlc) until after the main campaign. So I only did Miranda, Samara, Tali, Garrus, Thane and Mordin's loyalty quests(didn't activate Legion). Gonna do all the sidequests, loyalty quests and dlc now, after t5he suicide mission.
2 things I have taken from this playthrough-
1. The suicide mission is really well done, it makes me sad to think of the ending to ME3
2. Zaeed is actually a really good character! ....I probably used him more than anyone.
I will do all the side missions and dlc over the next few days, then it is straight on to ME3 ....trying not to think about the ending!!

For me was when I shot Mordin in my renegade playthrough. Was literally praying for no renegade interrupt and I knew it was gonna happen

Agreed. It was a great ending and Zaeed was totally underrated. Jack was another that I thought should have gotten more love, but floors and ceilings and all that kind of thing.

I'll spoiler tag this just in case...
I found out on Youtube that it's actually possible to end ME2 with NOBODY, including Shepard, surviving the suicide mission. In the end, he tells Joker to warn the Council before falling to his death.
Has anyone done that and seen what happens? Does the game go to a game over/reload screen after that cut scene? Surely there's no way to import such an ending to ME3?

I managed a peaceful solution, ending the conflict between Geth/Quarians, Legion still sacrificed himself for all the Geth though
For some reason, on my second playthrough, the peace option was greyed out.
I chose to let the quarians kill the geth. Sorry Legion, you're awesome and everything, but Tali has nicer hips.

Shep dying is the only non-cannon ending, it simply didn't happen. The game just ends and you can't continue after.

No end game save is created if you do that, so you can't import into ME3. You need a minimum of two squadmates to survive ME2 to live to see ME3, there are people out there who have tried to do a worst playthrough while still surviving to see the impact in ME3.

I did. I think it was just my paragon score wasn't high enough.

They're going to "clarify" the ending, that's all I know. They're going to do their absolute best to polish a turd.
DLC will be released in summer and will clarify the existing endings. No new gameplay or anything, just cutscenes. The endings will stay exactly as they are but will be explained a bit more(somehow).
It will probably just be a text screen with the message - "WE HAVE NO IDEA" after the main credits.
No doubt they will do the bare minimum
