I did the same but after reading the latest mass effect book they put out I needed something to make me realise it was still an IP that I was interested in.

The book was an abomination from start to finish.

The first 3 are perfectly fine and decent as far as game novels go but Deception is worse than bad fanfiction.

The problem with the 4th book is that it was written by someone else and not the lead writer on Mass Effect like the first 3 were.

The new guy obviously had very little/ or no previous knowledge of the Mass Effect Universe, this shows from the fact that he thinks Omega (A Space Station) has day and night cycles....

Wow, that's pathetic.

Where can I find these novels? Which one should I not read so not to spoil the ME3 game?

Edit: I've just bought the 4 Hardback books on the bay :o.

Playing this on silver difficulty is not much fun when you are playing with players who are at a higher level with their character.

Can hardly get any kills, mostly assists points :d

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. The total squad XP is added to your character so you will level up pretty quickly. :) Stick to bronze until you have more skill points?
 
The writer of Deception also wrote the terrible Halo novel 'The Flood', whereas the rest of the Halo novels are fairly good

Yeah, as you say it depends who you play with.

Also never tried gold, that surely can't be fun if you have a low skilled character.

Waited too long as I paid for a Vita and couldn't afford it.
 
Dangit mass effect 3 demo. Now Waiting is going to be oh so much harder! Not to mention i just noticed we have to wait an extra whole 3! DAYS!
