*** Mass Effect 3 ***

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!..... I just saw a massive spoiler:(


I just preordered from ocuk, then I read that you need the digital deluxe edition or collectors edition to get the 'From Ashes' dlc as well, anyone know what that means exactly? If you don't buy from Origin, you don't get the content? (it is quite major)

If I understand this right, the amount of content you miss out on if you don't buy it from Origin for £55 is disgraceful! (dayone dlc for £8!)

Just searched for From Ashes and saw the word spoilerific, wont be going any further with that.

It will probably be available from BioWare, probably for a small fee or hopefully free.
 
Actually, as I have no intention of buying day one dlc for £8, it isn't a spoiler for me at all because the thing spoiled will not be in my game at all.

Definitely do not read about From Ashes if you will be getting it though!

No I'm not going near From Ashes at all.

If it's true about £8 day one dlc then it's straight milking, a shame because on ME2 they gave you three pieces of free dlc on the Cerbarus Network. I wont be forking out for it straight away.

Exactly, In ME2 it was to protect from second-hand sales, I didn't mind it at all, but this is something else!

For anyone who doesn't know what we are atalking about(without spoilers) From Ashes is a piece of dlc you recieve with the N7 Digital Deluxe edition from Origin, it was accidentally released on X-Box Live, not downloadable, but with pictures and a product description which had MASSIVE spoilers and cost 800 MS points. I don't know if it actually means it will be released as day one dlc tbh, but it is a sizeable addition which most people will not get unless they pay Origin £55!
 
It does seem strange to put massive spoilers in day one dlc though, there would be no point putting spoilers in the description at all. :confused:

Frustrating not being able to find out without encountering massive spoilers.
 
Apparently it is confirmed that it will be available on day one

Shortly after Microsoft published and promptly pulled the Mass Effect 3 “From Ashes” listing, BioWare Associate Producer Michael Gamble took to the developer’s forums to confirm that the listing is indeed accurate.
Gamble wrote:

For those of you who have purchased the N7 Collector’s Edition (including the PC Digital Deluxe Edition), you will get this content at no extra charge. Here is a minor spoiler on what the dlc actually is, not actually telling you what the listing spoiled if you are interested-
It is a mission to recruit a squad member, looks similar to the Zaeed dlc from ME2

The identity of the squadmate, which is the spoiler. If you posted it earlier that makes it even worse for me! As i managed to navigate this thread without seeing a spoiler, then stumbled on this:p
Where did you post it, i'll see if it is the same, everyome is talking about it as if it is new though

It isn't the spoilerific nature of it that bothers me anyway, it is the fact that it is being released as day one dlc which you have to pay for

But it tells you about two squadmates so I wouldn't look at it if the one you saw only tells you about one.
 
Sorry if this has already been posted, did check the thread for "collectors" but couldnt find anything.

Has anyone else noticed that the PC collectors edition has been removed from Games website? Still on my pre-order but when I click on it goes to "oops page not found".

Does this mean they wont be able to provide it? :(

Normally means that they have reached the quota that they have bought and can't sell anymore, never had a problem with the item being taken off the website, it's always been dispatched if it's in my per-order list! :D (I'm in the same boat as you btw)
