*** Mass Effect 3 ***

there was talk of a movie beeing made but the story line was going to be totaly different from the games

Looks a bit lame actually... Why do they do this, a Mass Effect movie needs to be based on the events from the games..

Anyhow, if they'd do a whole movie with the same CGI as the trailer using the Mass Effect storyline - wow..!! That'd be well nerdy but I'd watch it lol

I want to experience the game in its full on release day, DLC like that should be in the main game on launch day.

It is if you buy the collectors edition :) And its not like mE3 isnt going to be good value for money, if its anything close to ME2 then it was like 40 hours for a full completed play through, and i must have done about 5 complete play through so 35.00 i paid for it is a bargin in my opinion.

I wasn't in the least impressed with the demo, this is just the proverbial straw. I'll wait till this is much cheaper before I consider picking it up.

I bought every single piece of post launch DLC(bar appearances) for ME2 and was happy to support the game, they can ram ME3.

Day one DLC?
Well that's me not buying the game >.<

I am pretty sure this will accomplish nothing or at least not what you desire. The publisher has certain expectations about revenue and if those are not met they surely won't raise the development budget for the next game and they will neither lower the sales price.
Instead they will lower the development budget and sell the cut out content two months after release instead of right at launch day.

I think at this stage I could live without EA games. For every Dead Space there is a DA2, or butchered C&C game. I've more places to put my money than I can afford. They can cut all the budgets they like.

I'm not trying to make any kind of personal statement or send a message by not buying it at launch, I just don't think it's worth to me personally what they are asking.

1.) I don't like EA, they've ruined every thing they've touched.
2.) This is one of the first in many future titles which is withheld from Steam.
3.) I don't care about publishers targets, I'm not going to buy something I don't agree with.

We're told to "Vote with our wallets", when we do? We're given excuses, meh.

For every time PC Gaming seems to move forwards positively, we'll get knocked 2 steps backwards from the devs/publishers.
