TBQFH, Mass Effect 3 could be a 10-hour interactive cutscene involving Shepard taking a crap while you repeatedly press A, B, RT, LB and grunt into the Kinect mic, before Wrex walks in and wipes him off, and I'll probably still love it.

Blatant DLC greed and nitpicking aside, I'm just waiting for the damn game before I start passing judgement.

been away from work this week so not got a clue whats going on.

anyone got a TL;DR rundown on whats kicking off around the launch of this title?
The controversy is that there is a major piece of Mass Effect lore which you can only get by buying the CE, or for $10 on launch day.

And now more spoilers about the story have some people upset.
Plus the one place (well two places) that was exclusively stocking the N7 edition has just gone back on that and cancelled everyone's preorders - suddenly they're up for grabs from many other stores.

Wonder if bioware addressed the woeful performance on the PS3, as it was noted that the PS3 demo performed very bad, although I seemed to remember the demo of ME2 was badly optimised code and yet the full game maintained 30fps v sync for the PS3 - was a really good game as well.

It'll get great reviews, until users start to submit their own reviews. Dragon Age II anyone?

Just reading about the 'endings' debate on the Bioware forums(God that place is a dive!) and I don't even know if I really want to play this anymore tbh.:(

I feel like every day my grip loosens on my pre-order.

A part of me wants to read it, another part of me wants to wait until next week. Been looking forward to this game for ages, even booked a week off for it :o

i would never expetc this from bioware.

i suspect ea fatcats are whispering in thair ears.

Bioware defended garbage like Dragon Age 2, the Arrival DLC and generally everything they have done since EA were involved. You could say "well they have to", but they defended it in a "we are right, you are wrong" venomous nature.

Developers, bands, all that kind of thing, are only as good as their last effort. At least wait on proper feedback.

Oh there is no real chance of me canceling my order tbh. At the end of the day I am a Massive Mass Effect fan and I have been looking forward to this game for ages. The most I will do is not buy any dlc:p

....The more we hear though!:(
