Very true, me1 is the bigger game out of the 3 plus slower paced so I can see why people didn't do it once. I did me1 twice myself to keep a character, finished 2 on both formats it's only 3 I've only done once. I've seen people redoing 1-3 now but don't get why they don't link you carry nothing through.Actually it's not necessarily true that players shot Wrex in ME1, the "default" choices that were provided by Bioware for "new" players in ME2 was that Wrex was shot (not that they did it themselves). And most players didn't want to run through ME1 after starting ME2 as you lose abilities etc and need more time to run the whole thing, etc. So a lot just took ME2 as their start.
I did all 3 at least twice!
means I had both good man shep and bad femshep in all games
1 was nice to everybody and 1 was nasty and argued and insulted their way through
I'm new to the series, but this looks great, do you think I could just pick this up from the beginning or is it best I play the others? I'm a bit funny playing old games, I can't seem to get past the dated graphics
Thank you for the reply, I might track down ME3 on the cheap anywayIt's been said you don't need to play the other games at all to play this one. However obviously it will help a bit with the lore and stuff.

If you have the time and dedication, play through all 3, collectively they are a very good series. But the 1st is a bit slow compared to 2 and 3. 2 is most peoples fave and 3 is good but the ending is cack.

Not sure if this has been discussed, but is anyone going to bother? 10 hours seems a bit cheap.
Spoilers ahead, but if you skip to the 2/3 minute mark you should miss them...
