****MASS EFFECT : ANDROMEDA****

Where ME1 falls down really is the clunky/non-intuitive systems for things like inventory and the horrific controls for the mako, etc. if someone went back and fleshed out some of those generic side missions and made better systems for stuff like items, etc. then it would stand up well even today.

Playing this with a pad and the Mako control is excellent. obviously designed with gamepads in mind.

Has anyone been getting blue flashes when driving around on EOS? not blue screens, but a blue tint on the screen for like 1 frame? i'm trying to work out if it's the game, or me overclocking my 980ti beyond it's limit (this game is really stretching it at 1440p on ultra). Edit: I'm recording into Shadowplay as well so that could be something to do with the lower frame rates, maybe the flashes??

oh and while i'm at it i sometimes get balck squares on scott ryders face - but only for a single frame...

I have a few times but barely notice it. I also get it in Division.

Do you get it as well fella? btw how is your 1080ti with the block on it? Very tempted by one of those...

I've noticed a few glitches with textures popping in and out, can't fault it so far. Everything on ultra @ 3440x1440 and it's between 75 - 100fps depending what's happening.

Very nice! My 980Ti is running everything on ultrat at that res better than I expected. It seems to suffer the most in cutscenes, but generally I'm 45-60 FPS.

Cutscenes can kill my FPS aswell, think it's down to them being rendered for console instead of PC.

I meant to ask, any other ultrawide players here? Do your cutscenes sometimes randomly jump to 21:9 for like 0.3 seconds, so you get a flicker? Happens rarely but seemingly at random.

The original game would sometimes get that due to the way light flares were handled but don't recall the frostbite engine doing it in bf4, etc.

No but some cutscenes are 21:9 with the majority in 16:9. One thing that annoys me is the map - the further out from centre the more incorrect the manual waypoint system is. If try to place one on the far left, it'll be inches away from where I actually clicked.

Yeah the horizontal scaling is 16:9 and the vertical is 21:9. It's bizarre.

Not since I modded it to always do the ingame rendered cutscenes in 21:9 , pillarbox was getting annoying.
