****MASS EFFECT : ANDROMEDA****

Thanks dude. I've installed it and see a list of available plugins, but I don't have the Plugins and PluginCache folders in the FW directory, and when I copy them in, the plugins don't appear in FW. Any ideas?

EDIT: got it working. Once I told the app to load all the profiles, I copied hte ME:A plugin in again and it appeared in FW. Cheers!

MP is slow, but it seems like a tougher grind than ME3 MP? Or is it just because I've gone from a completed ME3 manifest to having only a handful of level 1 weapons and very few supplies?

It is tougher but there are fewer weak enemies in Andromeda MP like the thralls and such which died within a few hits so you can't play the game the same way you played ME3 as any enemy can be a potential threat. Also combo detonations seem to have been nerfed into the ground so melee(surprisingly) and pistols/snipers are mainly the way to go. I hope they rebalance the weapons as its a bit silly when a snipers in general can output way more sustained damage per second than assault rifles, this is part of the reason why the Raptor is considered the best 'assault rifle' currently in the game.

Ugh, can't decide on this. I think I'll wait until it's sub £35. I think....
Not the best game of the series but worth buying. I'm enjoying it a lot :)

Those that have been to Voeld - how many donuts have you done? :D Having fun ignoring enemies and setting up a drifting track instead :D

I'm loving this. It very much has problems (far too much busywork and bloated planets) but it's refreshing to be a character that isn't a God like Shepard, and doesn't have the awful Paragon/Renegade issues. Combat is great, as is MP and Drack is probably tied with Mordin as the best companion in the franchise IMO (Drack's loyalty mission is hilarious :D ).

They definitely could have tested it some more but it's a massive game so I'll forgive them a bit. The writing isn't a touch on stuff like The Witcher 3 but then not much is and the animation stuff and stilted 'acting' on some characters isn't something overly concerns me.

Biggest criticism is TOO MANY SPACE AUSSIE'S! Everywhere you go, another Antipodean accent pops up. I'm supposed to be in some Hell baked desert wasteland with no water, searing temperatures, no culture and poisonous, biting, aggressive creatures surrounding me, not bloody Austral..... oh.

LOl funny you mention that I was thinking the same last night how the hell did an Angarean get a Australian accent I means its a mere 600+ years away :p ,still enjoying the game non the less :)

I actually thought one said she was a student in Australia. I was like WTF? I had to turn subtitles on to realise she wasn't.

I'm on Voeld, and have been since I got home. 5 hours ago... It is BIG! Probably not even half done.

Game completed, at 93 hours, though 13 or so was multiplayer, well worth the £35 paid. Overall, had a pretty great time. Found that the main story itself was weak, but sets you up for more games as expected. But some of the side quests are pretty neat. Too many fetch quests though, a bit like inquisition, but can mostly be avoided.

Yup Drack was one of the best companions I have used to date. Liam on the other hand is so rubbish. They always make the initial male human companion so rubbish in these, Kaiden, Jacob (though not too bad) and Vega.

To be honest I forgot I even had Liam. Haven't taken him on a Saturday nope mission yet. Same for Drack. I've taken Jaal or whatever he's called and peebee most of the time. It makes sense to take the angaaran and well peebee is great fun. I'm not sure I've made the dialogue choices to romance her, although I'm not sure how the romance works yet. Just like real life for me...

At least you could get Kaiden to hug a nuke :D

But yes, Bioware don't do male human ME characters very well; especially when you look at Wrex, Mordin, Drack and Garrus to see them write male characters well.

Yeah normally the Angaran also though mix him up with Vectra. Seeing as you do a fair bit of interaction with them, jaal will tend to make comments which others would not, so quiet neat to have

You literally spam the love heart symbol when you see it. Had the option to romance her later on in the game as a result, but I rejected her, did a loner run :D

I really hate the Kett. Not because they're evil, but just because they're really lame, poorly designed characters. They're a bunch of stupid space monkeys with guns. I feel like I'm in a spider man comic when I fight them. The cut scene on the Voeld priority mission, and when you have to decide
whether or not the kill the AI
... Jesus, that crap was striaght out of hithchiker's guide to the galaxy.
