****MASS EFFECT : ANDROMEDA****

Patch notes are promising, but I'm gutted they don't seem to mention SAMspam.

SAM: Seriously Annoying Machine

Got this over the weekend and I've sunk quite a few hours into it now.

As a Mass Effect game, it's not quite as engaging as the original Trilogy so far. They do seem to have rushed the intros to all the other characters and it feels a little directionless at times. I prefer when you're given smaller areas to deal with before being thrust into a massive hub (ooer). The combat feels a little clunky, and the weapons underpowered, but the latter is something I'll work on with mods/research. That said, I am actually enjoying the game and I'm sure I'll sink many more hours into it!

Anyone doing the multiplayer stuff?

How many planets can be explored and how big are they? I've seen a barrier on one of them.

6 that you can land on and explore in the open world setting, various sizes, some take a few days to clear, one took me a few hours, The other planets are purely their for scanning.

You do get out of mission areas, which reset me inside the barrier.

I have to disagree, I was totally bought in to the game, found it really engaging and immersive. Sucked my evenings/weekends right up. I genuinely love the game and think they've done a sterling job.

I did multiplyer stuff, just waiting for the patch and new maps before getting into it.

Weapons come into their own with attachments and for ones you actually develop. When you develop them through R&D and level them up rather then pick them up, you can augment them aswell as add attachments when you create them. Get the right setup for your build and weapons become very powerful IMO.

I've sent you an add. I've not played any multiplayer at all.

To each their own - I'm not feeling it. Yet :D

Thanks for that - always nice to have something to look forward to.

Yeah any news on when patch is hitting?

I found this but it doesn't mention time

Patch 1.05 will begin to roll out on Thursday, April 6th. We’ll continue to listen to your feedback, and we thank you for working with us to create an even better Mass Effect: Andromeda experience.
