****MASS EFFECT : ANDROMEDA****

The improved eyes make a huge difference imo. Just having a bit of depth and reflection makes them look so much less like creepy soulless robots.

I only really noticed the (human) eyes being a bit crazy in a lot of cut scenes so that would fix most of the immersion breaking stuff for me. The few awkward sentences I've heard so far only really stood out because they were banded about so much otherwise I'd have just carried on playing with a shrug/grimace or chuckle.

I had some initial crashes but removing the small OC on the CPU has completely stopped those. Only game in months that appears to have been affected by it.

Guys can you help me pick the right settings? Pc spec in sig, i'm not that fussy about fps 30ish is fine for 3rd person fps. I just want to have best visual experience as not to get pull out of the story. Please let me know what to used and what is taking a lot of resources.

Since the patch I'd getting out of memory crashes, really frustrating....1080 and 16gb shouldn't really hit that. I say frustrating as I'm enjoying it.

Well after 120 hours I’ve finished the game with 98% completion, had one quest bugged and another couple where I couldn’t be bothered to track down a few items (the random camp spawn stuff with no quest markers).

Not going to ramble on about the negative aspects of the game as they are well covered and may touch on spoilers. I’ll just say that gameplay wise the planet scanning felt pointless and the ‘task’ quests where vague and uninteresting overall.

Pacing also suffered due to the ‘openness’ of the world and at times I never really knew when I should progress through the main story or move onto or back to another planet.

Overall though I did enjoy the experience but it’s hard to settle on a score, if I were to compare it to the Witcher 3 directly I couldn’t give it more than a 5/10 but it does still have some of that Mass Effect charm and delivered on some of the main aspects I wanted from a ME game.

So maybe it’s the fan in me talking but I’ll give it a 7/10, needs work and some solid DLC and patches but it’s a game I will revisit and generally feel positive about.

Well I now seem to have been given floating guns , game opens in windowed mode, the characters seem to be under heavy medication

Yeah I have to go into settings and toggle a change to prompt the game to apply settings - it then springs back to full screen.

Anyone know why the Disciple isn't a research option? I don't buy nor keep scavenged weapons as I prefer to craft them with augmentations. Right now, my favourite is Disciple V with seeking pellets and other boosting augmentations. Going to change it up a bit, might try a more engineer based style, just for fun.

Bizarre glitches from this game since update, SAM keeps telling me I have email but I don't when I get to the console  driving me nuts lol ,whilst scanning planets the game kindly told me to reload my weapon and then a character got stuck inside a mound of snow so i couldn't finish the mission/talk to him lol :p

I can't even get to the Nexus in a new game. The conversations just freeze the game and I have to close it. Nice patch, thumbs up.

I want a DLC to change Tann's voice. The more I listen to him, the more it irritates me. Tann and Addison are both super annoying.

1.05 has definitely worsened the game as much as it has improved it for me. FPS drops are worse and more frequent. For example, I'll go to the main desk on the Tempest (where the strike team and AVP etc are) and I'll plummet to 18FPS. Alt tab out, back in again, and it's back up to 45-50. Strangely, when it's windowed, the same live scene is 100+ FPS.

Every time I start the game, I'm in bordered windowed mode and have to refresh the settings to get it fullscreen; the same goes for alt tabbing. Bioware, pls...

Yup, 1.05 is less stable for me. I have several quests bugged :( Just found out who the Charlaton is. Who writes this crap? It's about as cliché as a crappy Movies 24 film.

Still enjoyed it though. I've taken Sloane's side. She seems to be a necessary evil thus far.
