****MASS EFFECT : ANDROMEDA****

Yeah that is boring lol. Become totally OP by the end anyways. Amusingly though, the Advanced Chest pieces have no level cap, so I was rocking a level 80 chest piece at level 40 heh

Do the advanced change look every tier or once you have say chest vi is it the same look as x ?

Nope nothing special like that. All of the tiers in the advanced sets and weapons look exactly like the last tier (so top end model) used for the normal tier sets. Just basically the stats get increased.

Meh with how few armor sets they are you'd think you'd get slight improvements to them every tier instead of just stats.

Yeah would have liked a bit more, or at least graphical change. Best benefit I have found however is with weapons. The lower weight per tier also carries on, nice if you want to rock 3/4 weapons while keeping power recharge rate high, otherwise kinda meh.

wow, I didn't think this game could get any better and then...

I found the salarian ark  I didn't not see that coming if I'm honest. What a mission that was! Totally enjoyed it! What a rush going through the Archon Ship, totally unknown territory.

Also...

...now I've unlocked all of SAMs memories, I wasn't expecting the Reapers to be the reason for the Andromeda initiative! I loved fighting them in the previous game - is it too much to hope that they develop a transport technology meaning we can then travel back to earth and take them on again??

But I wonder who the benefactor is? DON'T TELL ME - Could it be 'Illusive man'? He was always one for living forever and knew they would return.

Didn't see it coming that their mother would be in a stasis pod either.

Totally impressed with this!

What do you start with in NG+. I note armour and weapons go up to level 80, topped out into mid 60's and can't see how one would get to 80 without a new game.

Level, skills, items/resources/resources all seem to transfer from what I can see, including the old special items which is the issue.

Also means you can start over your item limit as AVP is reset, couldn't pick anything up for a couple of hours at the beginning!

Thanks, did not see the option for NG+ when I finished so was not too sure when I finished. Will defo take a look this evening.

Argh! Lesson learned, very nearly the hard way. Quoting a post with spoilers in, shows the content of the spoilers ha

There seems to be loads of bugs with quest. Liam's diplmatic armour blueprint was still in my inventory after completing it. I sold it (0 value) just to get rid of it, and upon doing so, three other quest finished quests flashed up in green as completed. So, before completing the game entirely, I'd recommend getting rid of any 'stuck' special items via traders.

Is it possible to switch favourites without triggering a cooldown? I thought that if you had 2 favourites, both Infiltrator, but each with different powers, you wouldn't trigger cool downs from just switching powers. Is it not possible to have a favourite that only selects powers and not a profile? It's doing my head in waiting for three different powers to cool down, even immediately after waiting for the previous three to cool down. It's hard to get into words what I mean, but if Powers 1, 2, and 3 are ready to fire (no cool down), then you switch to alternate powers 1, 2, and 3, then there should be need to trigger a cool down, yet there is and it's rendering profiles useless for me.

Nope, sadly not. Switching between any favourite setup will mean all powers have a cooldown, even if all the ones you switch too are the exact same. Annoying but I expect its there to make you choose more carefully about the power you use, otherwise you would effectively be running with 12 powers, not that I see an issue with it in a single player game.

Yeah I get that, but what I mean is this: I see it that biotics/engineers can manage or 'think about' only 3 powers at once. Think of the cooldowns to be assigned to power slots A, B, and C. Say you assign Pull, Throw, and Lance to those respectively for profile 1. You fire Lance meaning slot C is cooling down. Now, you immediately switch to profile 2 while Lance is should still be cooling down. In Profile 2, power slots A, B, and C are now Charge, Nova, and Backlash. IMO, the way it should work is that Charge and Nova should be ready to use immediately, or perhaps with only a very short cooldown, like 20%. Backlash, however, needs to wait as Slot C hasn't cooled down from the earlier Lance use.

TL;DR, cooldowns should be global to the power slots and selecting a new profile shouldn't trigger a full, fresh cooldown if the powers are already cool. Maybe I'm thinking too much, or expecting profiles to be more like the cryo suit in Crysis ha.

In other news, I've just done Liam's loyalty. He's such an incompetent muppet, but that mission was fun and hilarious. Every time you talk to him it's like "so, Ryder, I know you said don't do this, but well, I'm sorry, I did it... again."

And one of the jokes along the lines "Do you think it'll survive a tow to the nexus?" *orange explosion* "nope" :D

Oh yeah I do agree, wish the profiles did work like that. With the way it is now, I just stick to one profile for everything.

Anyone else having trouble with Task: Drone Recovery? I'm pointed to a terminal at the Eos Outpost but there's nothing on it.

Not a dying card guys I've seen a few people have exactly this and I've had a slightly different thing happen. I only get it on cutscenes though.

Card is fine in everything else it's just on this game.

I thought it was my card overheating or running out of vram as previously I had this after playing for a couple of hours, but the screen shot I posted was after 5 mins of driving round eos.

Will give it another go tonight and see if it does it again, hopefully card isn't dying.

Make sure your drivers are fully up to date as well :) Have you tried another game to make sure. I know ive seen this before i saw it when searching for another bug i have with cut scenes where they change colour randomly. Like flickering blue and green.
