Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

just seen this but I've been doing matched betting for a month or so now and made around £300 but with maybe 10 mins input per day. I use a site that guides you step by step but it has a membership fee, this is well worth the money though if you ask me cause the bloke finds the sites for you and the deals and gives you step by step instructions

Matched betting really isn't hard to learn - it wouldn't take much reading to get to the point where you don't have to pay someone else any more.

Plus if I'm staking my own money, personally I'd rather understand the process myself than rely on step-by-step instructions!

I lost a 4 figure sum to Canbet in Dec 2013 when they went **** up, so in a way Match Betting does have a risk to it.

Yeah, the biggest risks in matched betting are (1) making mistakes, and (2) the risk of bookies going bust/not paying up (once you get onto more obscure bookies).

Did you make profit out of Canbet overall, though? The signs were there with their massive reload bonuses, but quite a few people knew it was dodgy and went in anyway (many of whom came out ahead!)

Yes I made a total profit in Canbet, they were chucking £500 bonuses around like confetti at one point and that was just too tempting. Got stung on the last £500 reload though.

If so I will. Also I think there's a referral bonus I can claim so would be great if you could let me :D

Do people really need that much hand holding? It is hardly a hard concept to understand. Tis about a decade or so too late to make any decent money fr it anyway.

I know ppl making 5 figures. It's from the same 'hand-holding' site that Luke mentioned. I was a member of that site and have now moved on to the next level which aggregates the best offers daily. There's no way everyone would have the time to scan hundreds of bookies and work out the EV of each offer nor the inclination. Personally I have cleared 4 figures in 6 months and that's doing it half asrsedly. Haven't really bothered much in April and still an extra 250 in the coffers. If you have the time it is a goldmine.

And of course you get to take a low risk bite of the big wins. One member scooped a £100,000 jackpot doing a £50 scratch card offer with sky last December. You often see a few bingo wins of several grand popping up on average once a month. Bingo usually only risks a tenner.

Yeah 666Bet announced that they will be processing withdrawals via Skrill.

For those who are a bit unsure about Skrill, its an online wallet, similar to Paypal. The majority of bookies now allow you to add/withdraw funds with Skrill, which is much faster than other payment processors.

This makes it perfect for matched betting, as those with low funds don't have to wait around for days whilst the bookies approve and process your withdrawals. The quicker you can bash your way through offers, the better.

Are you able to say what site it was you used (don't want a referral link)? I fully understand matched betting, but if there is a way to make it more efficient, I'm all for it.

Seen a few sites that charge, but no indication of how good they actually are.

also, what do you mean when you say you have taken it to the next level?

Its the site mentioned in my signiture chippie. I've been using it since February and have made over a grand now. Wrote a few reviews about. Can't sing its praises enough really - pure spoon feeding.

Its benefits are huge. The tips, tricks, odds matches, hidden bonuses, unknown methods and stuff that gets posted in the private facebook group is priceless info really.

Hi mate,

I've had a look and going to go for it, looks good, and i'm more than happy to gamble with the £20 sign up.

Just wondering, when (and how) do you get access to the private facebook group?

Cheers

I shld mention that I use another site called bonus bagging. that's a good starter site. then the next level is a site called profit maximiser.

Tonight a profit maximiser member won £600,000 in 6 mins doing 20p spins on a small slot offer. Second six figure win I've seen since joining in October. Mental.

666Bet are now paying out, phew got my money back from them this evening.

Glad to hear. It's why I don't like to leave money in my bookie accounts, aside from the bigger bookies like 365, Wll Hill etc. Although when you leave money in the account they send you offers to try and get you to lose it.

That's what costa bingo did with me, stung them for another £40 last night. Made £350ish from these bingo offers following the instuctions in profit accumulator.

I've had a quick read of this thread and I'm going to give it a go.
I'm a complete novice at this and starting from scratch so going to sign up to the profit accumulator site and take it from there.
If any others are just starting out feel free to message me in trust so we can help each other out.

I did matched betting a few years ago through FixTheOdds website.. had to sign up with most bookies and made a good £800 from it and now that's that. All the other offers at the time were naff or i had to wait to 'existing customer offers' which had a a poor return. Anyone in the same boat? Wondering if tides have changed and they might be crying out for their existing customers to return with some offers i can take advantage of..

Signed up to profit accumulator and just working my way through the basic training video.

One thing I'm not sure of if anyone can offer any help, at 3.45 it says for Coral our first bet needs to be above the odds of 1.5, however he doesn't explain why he got to this figure of 1.5, can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks.

I think the terms of that specific offer state the qualifying bet must be placed at odds of greater than 1/2 (i.e. 1.5 in decimals).

Exactly this. It's not him deciding the odds, it's the bookie's Ts&Cs for the free bet eligibility. Most are either 1.5, 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0. I stay above 2.0.
