Mattresses - I need knowledge

Decided not to plump for the divan base from them though as with their matching headboard it would have come in at an extra £450-£500 for them both which is a little much for me to stomach atm.

Anyone know of any places where we can pick up a king divan base and a matching headboard for a decent price?
 
Let me know how that feather topper is mate, been trying to get the Mrs to get something like this but she insists she wont have anything that is more feather than down because she can feel the feathers. The only downside to down is that it costs triple to have purely down bedware!

Both me and the mrs are pretty light so tbh both the 1500 and 2000 are great (we have the 2000 as our main bed and the 1500 as the guest bed, but we've had to swap and change sometimes). You'll be happy with your choice :).
 
Our pocket sprung with a memory foam layer is fantastic, however memory foam can make you really warm in the summer which is less than ideal. nice and toastie in the winter though. :)

Get a decent topper - they're awesome!!
 
I've got a bed frame a bit like this, with the same sprung slats:

It should be fine though at John Ryan where I got my mattress they recommend laying mdf or chipboard over the slats, to recreate the surface of a divan bed and prevent ridges in the mattress where it sinks between the slats over time.

Origin Pocket 1500 ordered of the 4th June from FBD and being delivered on the 18th June

so 2 weeks all in all, nor bad considering they said 3 weeks lead time

already had Guarantee certificate arrive in the post too

we wanted a large but our Double 4 draw Divan is in perfect condition so shame to get rid of it so opted for double mattress this time around

next time we will go for King :)
 
What's the largest-width bed available to get? It looks like a Super King is only longer than a King, not wider. I remember staying in a hotel in Indiana that had an awesome wide bed.. it felt like two doubles (but it was one bed!).. but the King doesn't look that much wider.
